A hydrophilic slippery treatment agent which allows for the formation of a coating having hydrophilicity concurrently with water droplet removability via drying at lower temperatures, a surface treatment method using the hydrophilic slippery treatment agent, a substrate having a hydrophilic slippery coating formed thereon by the surface treatment method, and a fin material for a heat exchanger having a hydrophilic slippery coating formed thereon by the surface treatment method are provided. The treatment agent contains an organosilicon compound with a specific structure including both a hydrophilic-chain-containing group and a hydrolyzable group, and a metal alkoxide.

Hydrophilic slippery treatment agent and surface treatment method

The object of the present invention is to attain both water/oil repellency and hardness. The transparent film of the present invention comprises: a polysiloxane backbone; and a first hydrocarbon chain-containing group bonded to a part of silicon atoms forcing the polysiloxane backbone, wherein the thickness of the transparent film is not less than 6 nm and not more than 50 nm.

Transparent film

The object of the present invention is to provide a water/oil-repellent coating composition for forming a film capable of attaining both water/oil repellency and abrasion resistance. The water/oil-repellent coating composition comprises: an organosilicon compound (A) and a metal compound (B), wherein at least one first hydrocarbon chain-containing group and at least one hydrolyzable group are bonded to a silicon atom in the organosilicon compound (A), where in at least one hydrolyzable group is bonded to a metal atom in the metal compound (B), wherein a second hydrocarbon chain-containing group having a length shorter than the length of the first hydrocarbon chain-containing group may be bonded to the metal atom in the metal compound (B), and wherein a molar ratio of the metal compound B) to the organosilicon compound (A) as metal compound (B)/organosilicon compound (A) is not less than 18 and not more than 48.

This invention provides mesostructured oxide ceramics and a synthesizing method thereof, the synthesizing method employs a water-based solvent containing a metallic salt or metal complex as the ceramics precursor, template formed from an organic compound or the association thereof, and a precipitant, wherein mesostructured oxide ceramics are obtained from self-assembled oxide ceramics and organic substance by directly extracting oxide ceramics at a low temperature of 200&#xb0; C. or less by utilizing a homogenous precipitation reaction from said ceramics precursor under the coexistence of a nanometer-sized template in the solvent, and separating and collecting the obtained precipitation, and mesostructured oxide ceramics is prepared by employing the synthesizing method described above.
