There is provided a liquid discharge head including a substrate having a pressure chamber, an actuator, and a channel member. The actuator has a first film arranged on the substrate and a second film arranged on a surface of the first film. The substrate and the channel member are attached to each other with an adhesive. A first through hole is formed in a part of the first film, and a second through hole is formed in a part of the second film. An edge of the first through hole is positioned further inward of the second through hole than an edge of the second through hole. The adhesive is applied to a part of the surface of the first film overlapping with the second through hole, so as to cover a boundary part between the first and second films.

An area of the first joint region is greater than an area of the second region.

A liquid jetting apparatus includes: a flow passage structure having nozzles aligned in a first direction, pressure chambers aligned in the first direction to correspond respectively to the nozzles, and a vibration film covering the pressure chambers; piezoelectric elements arranged on the vibration film to correspond respectively to the pressure chambers; and traces extending along a planar direction of the vibration film to correspond respectively to the piezoelectric elements. Each of the piezoelectric elements has a piezoelectric film arranged to cover the pressure chambers, and an individual electrode provided on the piezoelectric film to face a central portion of one of the pressure chambers and extending in a second direction intersecting the first direction. Within each area, of the vibration film, facing one of the pressure chambers, each of the traces extends from a connecting portion of the individual electrode along a third direction intersecting the second direction.

There is provided a piezoelectric actuator configured to displace to project toward a pressure chamber to apply pressure to a liquid inside the pressure chamber, the piezoelectric actuator including: a vibration plate having a compressive stress; a piezoelectric layer having a pulling stress; and an individual electrode. A liquid ejection apparatus includes feeding mechanism that feeds a recording medium in a first direction, a head including nozzles that eject liquid; and a humidifying mechanism. The humidifying mechanism includes a humidified air generating device that generates humidified air, an output portion that outputs the humidified air generated by the humidified air generating device, and a receiving portion that receives the humidified air output from the output portion. The output portion includes a first opening and a second opening. An area of the second opening is greater than an area of the first opening, and the first opening is separated from the second opening in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The controller controls the energy-applying portion in such a manner as to meet the following inequations: 0.85Ta&#x2266;T&#x2266;0.9Ta or 1.2Ta&#x2266;T in a case of p/D&#x2266;1.2, and 0.85Ta&#x2266;T in a case of p/D&#x3e;1.2.
