A multilayer insulated wire having two or more extrusion-insulating layers provided on a conductor to coat the conductor, wherein at least one layer of the insulating layers is composed of a polyethersulfone resin (i), or a resin mixture (ii) made by blending: 100 parts by weight of a resin (A) of at least one selected from polyetherimide resins and polyethersulfone resins, and 10 parts by weight or more of a resin (B) of at least one selected from polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polyester resins and polyamide resins; and wherein at least one layer other than the insulating layer composed of the resin (i) or resin mixture (ii) is provided as an outer layer to the insulating layer and is composed of a polyphenylenesulfide resin. A transformer can also have the mentioned multi-layered insulated wire.

Multilayer insulated wire and transformer using the same

A multilayer insulated wire which includes a conductor and two or more solderable, extruded insulating layers with which the conductor is coated. The first insulating layer nearest to the conductor includes a thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin and the outermost insulating layer is composed of a thermoplastic polyamide resin. A transformer in which the multilayer insulated wire is utilized.

A multilayer insulated wire has two or more extrusion-coating insulating layers provided on a conductor directly or via some other layer, or provided on the outside of a multicore wire composed of conductor cores or insulated cores that are collected together, wherein at least one of the insulating layers is made of a mixture prepared by mixing 100 parts by weight of a polyethersulfone resin and 10 to 100 parts by weight of an inorganic filler. A transformer utilizes the multilayer insulated wire. The multilayer insulated wire can realize such high heat resistance as heat resistance F class (155&deg; C.), which satisfies IEC 950 standards, or higher heat resistance, in transformers; and can exhibit excellent electrical properties even at high frequencies. Further, when the transformer is used at high frequencies, the electric properties are not lowered, and influence by the generation of heat can be prevented.

There is disclosed a multilayer insulated wire which comprises a conductor and solderable extrusion-insulating layers made up of two or more layers for covering the conductor, wherein at least one insulating layer is formed by a mixture comprising 100 parts by weight of a resin (A), of at least one selected from the group consisting of polyetherimide resins and polyethersulfone resins, 10 parts by weight or more of a resin (B), of at least one selected from the group consisting of polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polyester resins, and polyamide resin, and 15 to 200 parts by weight of an inorganic filler (C). There is also disclosed a transformer which utilizes the multilayer insulted wire. The multilayer insulated wire is excellent in heat resistance, solderability, high-frequency characteristic, and coilability, and it is favorably suitable for industrial production. Further, the transformer utilizing the multilayer insulated wire is excellent in electrical properties and high in reliability, since when used at high frequencies, electric properties are not lowered and influence by the generation of heat can be prevented.

Multilayer insulated wire and transformers made by using the same

There is disclosed a multilayer insulated wire comprising a conductor and solderable extrusion-insulating layers made up of two or more layers for covering the conductor, wherein at least one insulating layer is formed by a resin mixture comprising 100 parts by weight of a resin (A), of at least one selected from polyetherimide resins and polyethersulfone resins, and 10 parts by weight or more of a resin (B), of at least one selected from polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polyester resins, and polyamide resins. There is also disclosed a transformer using the multilayer insulated wire. The multilayer insulated wire is excellent in heat resistance, solderability, and coilability, and is favorably suitable for industrial production. The transformer is excellent in electrical properties and high in reliability.

A multilayer insulated wire has a conductor and solderable extrusion-insulating layer made up of two or more layers for covering the conductor. At least one insulating layer including the outermost layer is formed by a mixture of 100 parts by weight of resin components in which 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic polyester-series resin (A) is blended with 5 to 40 parts by weight of an ethylene-series copolymer having a carboxylic acid component or a metal salt of the carboxylic acid component in its side chain, and 10 to 80 parts by weight of an inorganic filler (B). A transformer which utilizes the multilayer insulated wire has excellent solderability, high-frequency characteristics, peel resistance under high-voltage and high-frequency, and coilability, and it is favorably suitable for industrial production. A transformer utilizing the multilayer insulated wire has excellent electrical properties and high reliability, because when used at high frequencies, there arises no problem of lowering of electric properties and scraping-off from the wire by corona.

Multilayer insulated wire and transformers using the same

There is disclosed an insulated wire having an extrusion-coating insulating layer provided on the outer surface of a conductor directly or via some other layer, or provided on the peripheral surface of a multicore wire composed of conductor cores or insulated cores that are collected together, wherein the extrusion-coating insulating layer is made of a resin mixture to be extrusion-coated, which comprises 100 parts by weight of a resin (A) comprising a polyethersulfone resin, as an essential component, and, optionally, a polyetherimide resin, and 10 to 100 parts by weight of a resin (B) comprising at least one resin selected from polycarbonate resins, polyarylate resins, polyester resins, and polyamide resins. According to the insulated wire whose insulating layer is formed by the extrusion coating method, its direct solderability is excellent, and at least its heat resistance is better than that of conventional polyester-series resins, and by some blending proportions of the resin mixture, the insulated wire results in heat resistance that easily satisfies at least Heat Resistance Class B stipulated by IEC standard Pub. 172.

There is disclosed an insulated wire, having, on a conductor, an insulating coating including at least three layers, made up of an underlayer formed by applying and baking a polyamine-imide-series resin coating material, containing 0.05 to 1.0 parts by weight of a trialkylamine, and/or 5 to 20 parts by weight of an alkoxylated melamine resin, per 100 parts by weight of a polyamide-imide-series resin, an intermediate layer formed by applying and baking a polyimide-series resin coating material, and an overlayer formed by applying and baking a self-lubricating-type polyamide-imide-series resin coating material. According to the insulated wire, an insulating coating can be prevented from being damaged at the time of the working of a coil under severe conditions, even when the insulating coating is thin.

Provided is a multilayer insulated wire comprising a conductor and three or more insulating layers covering the conductor, in which each of first and second insulating layers, as counted from the conductor side, is (a) an extrusion-coating layer of an intimate resin mixture compounded so that an ethylene-based copolymer, having a carboxylic acid or a metal salt of the carboxylic acid on the side chain thereof, accounts for 5 to 40 parts by weight compared to 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic straight-chain polyester resin, (b) an extrusion-coating layer consisting mainly of a thermoplastic straight-chain polyester resin formed by combining an acid constituent and an alcoholic constituent the whole or a part of which is cyclohexanedimethanol, or (c) an extrusion-coating layer of an intimate resin mixture compounded so that the ethylene-based copolymer, having the carboxylic acid or the metal salt of the carboxylic acid on the side chain thereof, accounts for 50 parts or less by weight compared to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic straight-chain polyester resin formed by combining the acid constituent and the alcoholic constituent the whole or a part of which is cyclohexanedimethanol, a third insulating layer being an extrusion-coating layer of a thermoplastic polyamide resin or a intimate resin mixture consisting mainly of the thermoplastic polyamide resin. Also provided is a bondable multilayer insulated wire which further comprises a bondable layer of an copolymerized-polyamide resin formed on the third insulating layer.

Multilayer insulated wire and a manufacturing method therefor

The present invention provides a magnet wire having a high heat resistance, a conductor, and an inner layer formed by baking a first resin coating covering the outer surface of the conductor. The inner layer has a heat resistance which is not lower than 130.degree. C. and is lower than 200.degree. C. An outer layer is formed by baking a second resin coating covering the outer surface of the inner layer, the outer layer having a heat resistance which is not lower than 200.degree. C., the thickness of the lower layer falling within a range of between 0.3 .mu.m and 5 .mu.m and being not larger than 1/3 of the sum of the thicknesses of the outer and inner layers. The present invention also provides a method of removing an insulating covering from a magnet wire having a high heat resistance comprising the steps of: preparing a magnet wire having a high heat resistance, and irradiating an insulating covering of said magnet wire with a converged laser beam having a high energy.
