The purpose of the invention is to provide a transcranial magnetic stimulation system capable of guiding a patient into an optimum posture for treatment. The systemof the invention includes an optical devicefor projecting a light spotto a head of a patient and detecting a reflection light of the light spot; a memory meansfor memorizing information included in the reflection light detected by the optical device as a reference information when the projected light spot on the patient overlaps a marking () provided on the patient; a calculation meansfor using the reference information memorized in the memory means and a comparison information included in the reflection light of the light spot to calculate an overlap ratio between the marking and the light spot corresponding to the comparison information; and a display meansfor displaying the overlap ratio.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation system

A compact and economical transcranial magnetic stimulation system is provided which allows patient to carry out transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy routinely and repeatedly in, for example, his or her house or a neighborhood primary-care medical facility. The system () has a magnetic field generating means for generating a magnetic field to be used for providing magnetic stimulation to a specific part of the patient's head. The magnetic field generating means has a magnetic coil () for generating a variable magnetic field, a holder () for holding the magnetic coil (), cameras () and another for recognizing respective reference markings () or specific portions of ears of the patient M (tragi ()), and laser beam oscillators () and another. According to the system, the coil () is set in a proper posture with respect to the specific part of the patient by aligning the optical axes of the cameras () and other and the laser beam oscillators () and other with respective tragi ().

A compact and economical transcranial magnetic stimulation system has a magnetic field generator for generating a magnetic field to be used for providing magnetic stimulation to the head of patient. The generator has a magnetic coil for generating a variable magnetic field and a holder for holding the magnetic coil. The holder has positioning portions for positioning the holder against respective markings on the head of patient. The coil is placed into a suitable posture against certain position by aligning the positioning portions with the markings on the head of patient.

Provided is an ultrasound fracture detection device capable of accurately irradiating an ultrasound pulse to a target object, the device being characterized by being provided with an ultrasound wave irradiating transducer, a signal receiving transducer which receives a reflected wave of an ultrasound wave irradiated from the ultrasound wave irradiating transducer, a signal, storage unit which stores a received signal, and a display unit which displays an analysis program that analyzes a stored signal, a determination program that performs determination from the result of the analysis and/or performs determination from the stored signal, and the result of the analysis and/or the result of the determination, wherein the determination program performs the determination using that information relating to the received signal varies depending on the reflector within a living organism.
