The invention has as its object the provision of a metal-fiber reinforced plastic composite able to more reliably prevent occurrence of an electrolytic corrosion action when forming a composite of a metal member and a fiber reinforced plastic layer comprising reinforcing fiber (carbon fiber) and a matrix resin. A metal-fiber reinforced plastic compositeaccording to the present invention comprises a metal member, an insulating layerarranged on at least part of a surface of the metal memberand comprising a first matrix resincontaining nonconductive fiber, and a CFRP layerarranged on at least part of a surface of the insulating layerand comprising a second matrix resincontaining carbon fiber, wherein, when viewing the surface of the metal memberfrom vertically above, the CFRP layeris positioned at the inside of a region where the insulating layeris present and an outer edge of the CFRP layerand an outer edge of the insulating layerare 0.2 mm or more apart. Due to this, it is possible to prevent electrolytic corrosion of the metal member.

Metal-fiber reinforced plastic composite

This adhesively joined structure includes a first member having a metal portion and a film portion disposed on at least a part of a surface of the metal portion; a second member; an adhesive layer for joining the first member and the second member to each other via the film portion. The film portion includes an organic resin phase containing one or more of a urethane group, an epoxy group, and an ester group; an organic compound phase formed of an organic silicon compound; and optionally an inorganic compound phase formed of an inorganic silicon compound. The total volume percentage of the organic compound phase and the inorganic compound phase to the total volume of the film portion is 16 vol % to 84 vol %. The volume percentage of the organic compound phase to the total volume of the film portion is 16 vol % to 84 vol %. The volume percentage of the inorganic compound phase to the total volume of the film portion is limited to 10 vol % or less. The organic silicon compound includes a Si—C bond; and a Si—O bond or a Si—OH bond or a a combination thereof.

Adhesively joined structure and component for a vehicle

A vehicle front structure including a left and right pair of front side members, a bumper reinforcement and a power unit. The bumper reinforcement includes a first breakage initiation point at a position at one vehicle width direction side relative to a vehicle width direction center position of the vehicle, and a second breakage initiation point at a position at the other vehicle width direction side. The first breakage initiation point is a region at which bending yield strength is lower than other regions of the bumper reinforcement. The second breakage initiation point is a region with lower bending yield strength than the other regions but higher bending yield strength than the first breakage initiation point. The bumper reinforcement includes a bumper reinforcement main body with a chamber structure and a bracing member inside the bumper reinforcement main body at the vehicle width direction center position of the vehicle.

This spot welded joint includes a first steel sheet having tensile strength of 1100 MPa or higher and hard martensitic structure as main structure, a second steel sheet stacked on the first steel sheet, a nugget having diameter D at an interface between the first and second steel sheets and formed between the first and second steel sheets, and a hardness control region occupying, in a cross section of the first steel sheet in sheet thickness direction that passes a nugget center, a region that is the first steel sheet in sheet thickness direction and is from 0.5×D to 1.0×D from the nugget center in sheet surface direction and in which difference between maximum value and minimum value in hardness in the region is 80 HV or less, and the maximum hardness value in the region is lower than the maximum hardness value of the first steel sheet.

Spot welded joint, vehicle framework component provided with spot welded joint, and method of manufacturing spot welded joint

A reinforcing steel member for a motor vehicle of the present invention includes a steel sheet, a first resin material disposed on at least a part of a surface of the steel sheet, and a second resin material disposed on at least a part of a surface of the first resin material and having a matrix resin and a reinforcing fiber material contained in the matrix resin, in which in a cross section of the first resin material and the second resin material perpendicular to the surface of the steel sheet, between one end portion of the second resin material and the other end portion of the second resin material, there is a portion having a length of 80 mm or more along a boundary between the second resin material and the first resin material, in the first resin material, a protrusion portion having a length X of 3.0 mm or more from the two end portions of the second resin material to an end portion of the first resin material is formed in the cross section, and a Young's modulus of the first resin material at room temperature is 1/10 or less of a Young's modulus of the second resin material at room temperature.

Automobile hood

This bonded structure includes a first member having a metal portion and a film portion disposed on at least a part of a surface of the metal portion; a second member; an adhesive layer for joining the first member and the second member to each other via the film portion. The film portion contains a resin and inorganic particles. The inorganic particles are formed of ferrosilicon or non-oxide ceramics containing V. Some of the inorganic particles protrude toward the adhesive layer. The particle size of at least some of the inorganic particles protruding toward the adhesive layer is less than the film thickness of the film portion.

A method for manufacturing a quenched molding according to the present disclosure is a method including a first heat treatment process of heating a blanked steel material to a temperature higher than its Ac3 transformation point to perform austenite transformation, and then cooling to induce martensite transformation or bainite transformation, and a second heat treatment process of heating the steel material that has undergone the first heat treatment process to a temperature higher than the Ac3 transformation point to perform austenite transformation, and then cooling to induce martensite transformation. After the steel material has been heated to a temperature higher than the Ac3 transformation point in at least one process from out of the first heat treatment process or the second heat treatment process, molding is completed at a temperature higher than an Ar3 transformation point.

To provide a crash energy absorbing part which is light in weight, and in which collapsing deformation into a bellows shape occurs more stably even when a crash load is applied in a direction crossing the shock-absorbing direction of the crash energy absorbing part. The crash energy absorbing part of the present invention is constructed of a member that is obtained by forming a sandwich metal sheet (), which is formed by laminating a surface layer (A,B) formed of a metal sheet on each side surface of a core layer () and bonding them. By controlling a deformation rate of a center layer of the sandwich metal sheet () for constructing the crash energy absorbing part, the crash energy absorbing part of the present invention is deformed at a short wavelength regardless of a direction of a crash load that is applied, whereby collapsing deformation into a bellows shape more stably occurs.
