A multilayer coil component includes a multilayer body in which a plurality of insulating layers are stacked in a stacking direction and a coil inside, and outer electrodes on surfaces of the multilayer body and electrically connected to the coil. The insulating layers have a magnetic phase having spinel structure containing at least Fe, Ni, Zn, and Cu and a non-magnetic phase containing at least Si. When grain sizes D50 and D90 of crystal grains constituting the magnetic phase are respectively defined as equivalent-area circle diameters of 50% and 90% on a cumulative sum basis in a cumulative distribution of equivalent-area circle diameters of the crystal grains, the grain size D50 is from 50 nm to 750 nm, and the grain size D90 is from 200 nm to 1500 nm.

Multilayer coil component

A multilayer coil component includes a multilayer body including laminated insulating layers, a coil including electrically connecting coil conductors laminated together with the insulating layers, and first and second outer electrodes electrically connected to the coil. The body has first and second end surfaces opposing each other in a length direction in which the first and second outer electrodes face each other, first and second main surfaces opposing each other in a height direction orthogonal to the length direction, and first and second side surfaces opposing each other in a width direction orthogonal to the length direction and the height direction. The second main surface is a mounting surface. A lamination direction of the body and a coil axis of the coil are along the length direction, and a relationship between a length dimension L and a width dimension W of the body is L/W<1.

A multilayer coil component includes a body including multiple insulating layers stacked in a direction of stacking and having first and second end surfaces opposite each other in a length direction, first and second primary surfaces opposite each other in a height direction, perpendicular to the length direction, and first and second lateral surfaces opposite each other in a width direction, perpendicular to the length direction and to the height direction; a coil inside the body and including multiple coil conductors electrically connected together; and a first outer electrode extending from at least part of the first end surface of the body to part of the first primary surface and electrically coupled to the coil. The direction of stacking of the insulating layers and the direction of the coil axis of the coil are parallel with the first primary surface, which is the mounting surface, of the body.

A multilayer coil component that includes a multilayer body in which a plurality of insulating layers are stacked in a stacking direction and a coil inside the multilayer body, and outer electrodes that are on surfaces of the multilayer body and are electrically connected to the coil. The insulating layers include a spinel-structure ferrite phase and a ZnFe(BO)O-type crystalline phase.

A common-mode choke coil includes a multilayer body, a first coil, a second coil, a first terminal electrode, a second terminal electrode, a third terminal electrode, and a fourth terminal electrode. The multilayer body includes plural non-conductor layers. The first and second coils are incorporated in the multilayer body. The first and second terminal electrodes are connected to the first coil. The third and fourth terminal electrodes are connected to the second coil. The first coil has a path length L, the second coil has a path length L, and the sum of the path length Land the path length Lis less than or equal to 3.5 mm. The non-conductor layers each have a relative permittivity of less than or equal to 11.

Common-mode choke coil

A multilayer coil component includes a body formed by multiple insulating layers stacked in a direction of stacking and having first and second end surfaces opposite each other in a length direction, first and second main surfaces opposite each other in a height direction, perpendicular to the length direction, and first and second lateral surfaces opposite each other in a width direction, perpendicular to the length direction and to the height direction; a coil inside the body and including multiple coil conductors electrically coupled together; and a first outer electrode extending from at least part of the first end surface of the body to part of the first main surface and electrically coupled to the coil. The direction of stacking of the insulating layers and the direction of the coil axis of the coil are parallel with the first main surface, which is the mounting surface, of the body.

A multilayer coil component includes a multilayer body that contain a coil. The coil includes coil conductors. A lamination direction of the multilayer body and an axial direction of the coil are parallel to a first main surface. A distance between the coil conductors adjacent to each other in the lamination direction is from 4 μm to 8 μm. Each coil conductor includes a line portion and a land portion that is disposed at an end portion of the line portion. The land portions of the coil conductors adjacent to each other in the lamination direction are connected to each other with a via conductor interposed therebetween. A width of the line portion is from 30 μm to 50 μm. An inner diameter of each coil conductor is from 50 μm to 100 μm.

A common-mode choke coil includes a multilayer body, a first coil, and a second coil. The multilayer body includes plural non-conductor layers. The first and second coils are incorporated in the multilayer body. The first coil has a path length L, the second coil has a path length L, and the sum of the path length Land the path length Lis less than or equal to 3.30 mm. The first coil has a first coil conductor, and the second coil has a second coil conductor. The first coil conductor and the second coil conductor have a spacing D between each other of greater than or equal to 6 μm and less than or equal to 26 μm (i.e., from 6 μm to 26 μm) in the stacking direction of the non-conductor layers.

A common-mode choke coil includes a multilayer body, a first coil, a second coil, a first terminal electrode, a second terminal electrode, a third terminal electrode, and a fourth terminal electrode. The multilayer body includes plural non-conductor layers. The first and second coils are incorporated in the multilayer body. The first and second terminal electrodes are connected to the first coil. The third and fourth terminal electrodes are connected to the second coil. The first coil has a path length L, the second coil has a path length L, and the sum of the path length Land the path length Lis less than or equal to 3.4 mm. The respective lower-face electrode portions of the terminal electrodes each have an area of less than or equal to 0.034 μm.

A multilayer coil component includes a multilayer body in which a plurality of insulating layers are stacked and inside of which a coil is provided, and first and second outer electrodes provided on surfaces of the multilayer body and electrically connected to the coil. The multilayer body has first and second end surfaces, first and second main surfaces, and first and second side surfaces. The first outer electrode extends from at least part of the first end surface of the multilayer body across part of the first main surface and the second outer electrode extends from at least part of the second end surface of the multilayer body across part of the first main surface. A transmission coefficient S21 is −1.0 dB or higher in a range from 1 GHz to 40 GHz and is −1.5 dB or higher in a range from 40 GHz to 60 GHz.

A common-mode choke coil includes a multilayer body, a first coil, a second coil, a first terminal electrode, a second terminal electrode, a third terminal electrode, and a fourth terminal electrode. The multilayer body includes plural non-conductor layers. The first and second coils are incorporated in the multilayer body. The first and second terminal electrodes are connected to the first coil. The third and fourth terminal electrodes are connected to the second coil. The first coil has a path length L1, the second coil has a path length L2, and the sum of the path length L1 and the path length L2 is less than or equal to 3.5 mm.

A common-mode choke coil includes a multilayer body, a first coil, and a second coil. The multilayer body includes plural stacked non-conductor layers. The first and second coils are incorporated in the multilayer body. The first coil includes a first coil conductor. The second coil includes a second coil conductor disposed along an interface between non-conductor layers different from an interface between non-conductor layers along which the first coil conductor is disposed. With the first coil conductor and the second coil conductor being viewed in plan in the stacking direction of the multilayer body, the first coil conductor and the second coil conductor have no portion where the two coil conductors overlap each other, except for a portion where the two coil conductors cross each other.

A common-mode choke coil includes a multilayer body, a first coil, and a second coil. The multilayer body is a cuboid in shape that includes plural stacked non-conductor layers. The first and second coils are incorporated in the multilayer body. The first coil includes a first coil conductor, and the second coil includes a second coil conductor. The first coil conductor is positioned with gaps SG1 to SG4 interposed between the first coil conductor and the outer periphery surface of the multilayer body. The second coil conductor is positioned with gaps SG5 to SG8 interposed between the second coil conductor and the outer periphery surface of the multilayer body. Of the four absolute values of the differences between the gaps SG1 to SG4 and the corresponding gaps SG5 to SG8, at least two absolute values are greater than or equal to 0.02 mm.

A multilayer coil component includes an insulator portion, a coil embedded in the insulator portion and including a plurality of coil conductor layers electrically connected together, and an outer electrode disposed on a surface of the insulator portion and electrically connected to the coil. The insulator portion is a multilayer body including first and second insulator layers. The coil conductor layers and the second insulator layers are disposed on the first insulator layers. The multilayer coil component has void layers (e.g., voids) between the first insulator layers and at least a portion of the coil conductor layers. If the thickness of the first insulator layers is a, the thickness of the coil conductor layers is b, and the thickness of the void layers is c, the ratio of c to b (c/b) is 0.10 to 0.70, and the ratio of a to b (a/b) is 0.25 to 1.00.

A circuit includes a bias-tee circuit including a signal line, a constant-voltage power supply, an inductor, and a capacitor. The signal line includes a first signal line and a second signal line. The inductor includes a first inductor and a second inductor. The first inductor is connected to the first signal line and the constant-voltage power supply. The second inductor is connected to the second signal line and the constant-voltage power supply. The shortest distance between the first inductor and the second inductor is not less than 0.05 mm and not more than 1 mm (i.e., from 0.05 mm to 1 mm). The direction of a coil axis of the first inductor and the direction of a coil axis of the second inductor are parallel with a mounting surface and form an angle of approximately 90 degrees.
