A work machine can include a frame; transportation devices coupled to the frame; a work tool coupled to the frame; a hydraulic system to provide power to operate the transportation devices and the work tool; and a controller configured to operate in a first mode wherein a first hydraulic pump is configured to deliver hydraulic fluid to the transportation devices and a second hydraulic pump is configured to deliver hydraulic fluid to the work tool, and wherein the controller can operate in a second mode wherein the work tool is provided with hydraulic fluid from both the first and the second hydraulic pumps.

A work machine comprises a joystick to control a movement of the work machine, a lock lever to control a hydraulic system of the work machine, a display to output information to an operator inside the work machine, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to lock the hydraulic system without receiving an input from the lock lever, perform an idling stop operation of an engine of the work machine, output, on the display, an instruction for the operator to operate the joystick to restart the engine of the work machine, detect a predetermined operation of the joystick, perform an engine restart operation, under a condition that the predetermined operation of the joystick is detected, and unlock the hydraulic system without receiving the input from the lock lever.

Providing high accuracy calibration of a pump control table when variable capacity of a hydraulic pump is controlled based on a pump control table representing the relationship between pump capacity and current command value. The calibration: acquires data by measuring pump pressure corresponding to each current command value while changing the current command value in a multi-step manner; obtains a factor K representing a relationship between pump pressure and pump flow rate; creates a first table representing a relationship between the factor K and pump pressure; creates a second table representing a relationship between current command value and pump pressure; creates a third table representing a relationship between pump flow rate and current command value according to factor K; and creates a pump control table representing a relationship between pump capacity and current command value through engine rotation speed during pump pressure measurement.

Calibration system for variable capacity hydraulic pump

A fuel supply apparatus able to stop actuating of a fuel supply pump when the fuel supply is stopped or becomes slow, includes a control section which calculates an amount of the fuel in the fuel tank based upon a signal from a fuel gauge, and outputs the result to a fuel meter. The control section also calculates from the fuel gauge signal the amount of the fuel supplied into the fuel tank per unit of time, and if the amount of the fuel supplied per unit of time is determined to be less than a set supply rate, the fuel supply pump is stopped so that a malfunction of the fuel supply can be detected without mounting a special fuel supply sensor.
