An outer package material for all-solid-state batteries, which is composed of a multilayer body that is sequentially provided, from the outer side, with at least a base material layer, a barrier layer and a thermally fusible resin layer in this order, and which is configured such that the multilayer body has a layer that has a buffering function on the outer side of the thermally fusible resin layer.

A battery includes a battery element, a housing body, and a valve device. The housing body houses the battery element. The valve device is in communication with the inside of the housing body. Heat-sealable resin layers face each other in a peripheral edge portion of the housing body. A joined edge portion in which the mutually facing heat-sealable resin layers are fused together is formed in the peripheral edge portion of the housing body. The valve device is configured to reduce an internal pressure of the housing body if the internal pressure is increased due to gas generated in the housing body. The valve device includes a first portion that is located on an outer side of an edge of the joined edge portion and a second portion that is sandwiched between the heat-sealable resin layers in the joined edge portion.

Heat sealing apparatus for a battery

A battery includes a battery element, housing body, and valve device. The housing body has a laminate including a base material, barrier, and heat-sealable resin layers. The valve device is in communication with the housing body inside. A joined edge portion in which the mutually facing heat-sealable resin layers are fused together is formed in a housing body peripheral edge portion. The valve device includes first and second portions. A valve mechanism reduces the housing body internal pressure if it is increased due to gas generated in the housing body is formed in the first portion. An air passage guides gas generated in the housing body toward the valve mechanism is formed in the second portion. The first portion is located on a joined edge portion edge outer side. At least a portion of the second portion is sandwiched between the heat-sealable resin layers in the joined edge portion.

Battery packaging material having a valve device

A valve device for a power storage device that can, when a gas is generated inside the power storage device, release the gas to the outside, and can highly prevent the intrusion of moisture from an external environment, the power storage device including: a power storage device element and a housing in which the element is housed, the valve device being attached to the housing, wherein the valve device is configured to reduce an internal pressure of the housing when the pressure increases due to a gas generated inside, and in the valve device, an amount of helium leakage from a secondary side to a primary side is 5.0×10Pa·m/sec or more and 5.0×10Pa·m/sec or less, as measured in a 25° C. environment, in accordance with a method defined in 'Vacuum spraying method (spray method)' of “Method for helium leak testing” in JIS Z 2331: 2006.

A battery includes a battery element, housing body, and valve device. The housing body includes at least one laminate and an interior space wherein the battery element is housed, a first housing portion covers the interior space from a first side in a thickness direction, and a second housing portion that covers the interior space from a second side opposite to the first side in the thickness direction. The valve device attaches to the housing body and makes the interior space communicate with an external space. A joined edge portion is formed in the housing body by the first and second housing portion being fused along respective peripheral edges. The valve device is between the first and second housing portion in the joined edge portion, and an inner end of the valve device protrudes from an inner edge of the joined edge portion toward the interior space.

Battery

A valve device is a valve device for attaching to a storage body. This valve device is provided with a valve device main body and an adhesive member. The valve device main body is configured to reduce pressure inside the storage body in the case where the pressure increases due to gas produced inside the storage body. The adhesive member is adhered to an outer periphery of the valve device main body, and is configured to adhere to the storage body. A hole through which the gas passes is formed in an end face of the valve device main body.

A valve for forming a passage through an inside and an outside of a packaging container constituted by resin molded articles or films are in communication with each other includes a breakable valve that's arranged to block the passage and splits open when internal pressure of the packaging container increases due to gas generated inside the packaging container, a check valve that's arranged on a secondary side located on an outer side to the breakable valve in the passage and through which the gas is discharged from the inside of the packaging container to the outside thereof according to internal pressure of the packaging container after the breakable valve has split open, and an attachment portion that delimits at least a portion of the passage and is fixed to the packaging container in a state of being sandwiched between the resin molded articles or the films constituting the packaging container.

A packaging material for batteries including a laminate in which at least a base material layer, a metal layer, and a sealant layer are laminated in order. The battery packaging material satisfies the relationships of: (A1−A2)≥60 N/15 mm; and (B1−B2)≥50 N/15 mm. A1 is a stress in elongation by 10% in the MD direction and B1 is a stress in elongation by 10% in the TD direction in the laminate, and A2 is a stress in elongation by 10% in the MD direction and B2 is a stress in elongation by 10% in the TD direction in the base material layer.
