According to one embodiment, a docking unit includes a placement surface which slopes down to a front side of the docking unit and configured to receive an electronic device, a docking connector on the placement surface and configured to connect to an extended connector of the electronic device, a groove portion recessed under the placement surface and located behind the docking connector, a biasing member detachably fitted into the groove portion, and a pressing member on a top surface of the biasing member configured to protrude upward from the top surface and to retract downward into the top surface by first resilience.

According to one embodiment, a television receiver comprises a cover covering the backside of a display module, and a frame-shaped mask provided on the periphery of the front surface of the display module. An antenna is provided along the periphery of the display module, and a cable electrically connected to the antenna is provided between the periphery of the display module and the inner surface of at least the cover or the mask. The cover or the mask includes a first claw and a second claw. If the cover (mask) includes the first claw and the second claw, the first claw is inserted into a recess defined in the mask (cover), while the second claw is engaged with the mask (cover).

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing in which an opening is made, a button fit inside the opening such as to be movable forward and backward, a printed wiring board housed inside the housing and provided with a switch which detects pushing operation of the button and a pair of supports. Each of the supports projects inside the housing such as to support both end portions of the printed wiring board and also serve as a stopper for the button.

The fixing part has a holder piece located inside of the housing farther than the outer plate. A bracket is fixed to the circuit board. The bracket has a fitting piece. The fitting piece is held between the outer plate and the holder piece, when the circuit board is housed in the housing.

An electronic apparatus has a housing having one end, components contained in the housing, and a door which is lockable at a closed position to hide one end of the housing. The housing has a base to support the door, and a cover connected removable to the base. The cover is removed from the base by sliding toward the door, and hooked on the base by sliding away from the door. The door prevents the cover from sliding in the direction of separating the cover from the base, as long as being locked at the closed position.

An information processing apparatus comprises a main unit and a cover. The main unit has a slot formed in its surface and a cover mounting portion formed on the surface. An electronic device can be inserted into the main unit through the slot. The cover is located on the surface of the main unit so as to cover the slot. The cover has an end portion disposed on the cover mounting portion. The end portion is rockably attached to the cover mounting portion of the main unit by means of a hinge mechanism. The cover is detachable from the main unit.
