The invention relates to a process for preparing an alkoxylated product. The aim of the invention is to provide aromatic polyols for preparing polyurethane-based and polyisocyanurate-based polymers, which ensure good miscibility with the isocyanate component and other components, have a good storage stability and render the end product flameproof. For this purpose, the invention devises a process for preparing an alkoxylated product by. reacting bisphenol F with propylene carbonate and/or propylene oxide as propoxylation agent and ethylene carbonate and/or ethylene oxide as ethoxylation agent, the propoxylation agent and the ethoxylation agent being used in a molar ration of 70:30 to 45:55.

Esterified arylhydroxy compounds for the production of polyurethane or polyisocyanurate. In order to provide aromatic polyols for the production of polyurethanes or polyisocyanurates which are process-technically suitable in terms of their viscosity and at the same time give the end product good physical properties and a good reaction to fire, esterified arylhydroxy compounds are proposed as polyols.

Modified arylhydroxy compounds for the production of polyurethane or polyisocyanurate

The invention relates to a composition that contains a binary mixture of bisphenol F and propoxylated bisphenol F. The aim of the invention is to provide aromatic polyols for preparing polyurethane-based and polyisocyanurate-based polymers, which ensure good handling from a technical point of view and good miscibility with the isocyanate component and render the end product flameproof. For this purpose, the invention devises a composition, which contains a binary mixture of ethoxylated bisphenol F and propoxylated bisphenol F in a weight ratio of 20:80 to 80:20.

Resols modified with organic phosphonic acids and/or phosphinic acids or their alkali and/or alkaline-earth metal salts obtained by reacting phenolic compounds and aldehyde in an alkaline medium in a molar ratio of the phenolic compounds to the aldehyde in a range from 1:0.3 to 1:6, with the reaction mixture comprising 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of at least one organic phosphonic acids and/or phosphinic acids or their alkali and/or alkaline-earth metal salts.
