Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For example, a transmitting device, such as a user equipment (UE) or network entity, may apply a pre-equalization operation and a normalization operation prior to transmitting a signal with an intra-symbol duty cycle. A receiving device (e.g., a UE or network entity) may receive the pre-equalized signal with a relatively low demodulation complexity based on the transmitting device pre-equalizing the signal. Additionally, or alternatively, the transmitting device may transmit an indication of the duty cycle to the receiving device in addition to the signal. The receiving device may divide the signal into streams and process the streams based on the indication of the duty cycle. Splitting the signal into streams and processing the streams to estimate symbols of the signal may support a relatively low demodulator complexity at the receiving device.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, feedback information corresponding to a code block group in conjunction with an indication of a redundancy version for retransmission of the code block group. The UE may then decode the retransmission of the code block group based on the monitoring and the redundancy version for the retransmission of the code block group.

In some examples, the first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device, a control message indicating a set of pre-equalization transmission schemes supported by the first wireless device for receipt of messaging pre-equalized by the second wireless device. Techniques for dynamic pre-equalization switching

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a transmitting device (e.g., a base station) may utilize machine learning to modify a signal as conditions of a channel change to reduce a peak to average power (PAPR). For example, a base station may select a type of machine learning. The base station may receive one or more feedback messages related to a condition of a channel and modify a downlink signal based on the selected type of machine learning and the one or more feedback messages. In some cases, the base station may transmit the modified downlink signal to a user equipment (UE) along with information indicating the modified downlink signal and the UE may reconstruct the downlink signal based on the information.

A method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a wireless communication device, a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) transmission during a first slot. This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for early termination of decoding attempts, including decoding attempts associated with physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates that are encoded using a rateless code. In some aspects, a transmitting device may encode a message using a rateless code associated with a cumulative encoding of various portions of the message, and using a device identifier or group identifier as an input to the encoding. Similarly, a receiving device may receive an encoded signal over candidate resources and may attempt to decode the signal in accordance with the rateless code and using a device identifier or a group identifier as an input to the decoding. As such, intended or non-intended receiving device may be able to evaluate whether to proceed with a decoding attempt or to terminate a decoding attempt at a relatively early stage.

In some aspects, a first wireless device may estimate a power amplifier (PA) non-linearity associated with a second wireless device using select signaling from the second wireless device. For example, the first wireless device may use a received signal to estimate the PA non-linearity if a dynamic power range associated with the signal triggers the estimation of the PA non-linearity (such as if the dynamic power range associated with the signal satisfies, or is expected to satisfy, a threshold dynamic power range). If the dynamic power range of the signal triggers the estimation of the PA non-linearity, the first wireless device may introduce DPoD to signaling received from the second wireless device in accordance with the estimation of the PA non-linearity.

Non-linearity estimation techniques for digital post distortion (DPoD) in a wireless system

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may determine a number of resources for next transmissions following a first transmission. For example, a user equipment (UE) may calculate an average mutual information (MI) of a single log likelihood ratio (LLR) and an MI for each code block. The UE may transmit feedback indicating a quantity of resources to achieve a target MI based on the calculated averages. A wireless device may monitor a feedback buffer utilization associated with the UE. A network entity may retransmit existing code blocks or output a transmission using repetition based on the monitoring and utilization thresholds. The network entity may indicate to the UE a latency level code block attribute and increase a quantity of resources for following retransmissions by a boosting factor based on the latency level and a threshold.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration indicating an intra-slot DMRS pattern. The UE may receive, from the network entity, an indication of an inter-slot DMRS pattern. The UE may communicate, with the network entity, a message that is associated with a time domain resource allocation that includes multiple slots, the message including one or more DMRSs in accordance with the intra-slot DMRS pattern and the inter-slot DMRS pattern. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communications device may transmit a first signal. The first signal may be transmitted from a first antenna array of the communications device through a lens of the communications device in a direction. An energy of a portion of the first signal may be below a threshold based on a position of a second antenna array of the communications device. The portion of the first signal may correspond to a portion of a reflection of the first signal that overlaps with the position of the second antenna array. The communications device may concurrently receive, at the second antenna array, a second signal originating from another direction, where the second signal may be focused in the direction of the second antenna array based on the lens.
