This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced feedback for secure mode wireless communications. A device may send a first null data packet (NDP) to a second device, and identify a second NDP received from the second device. The device may identify a location measurement report (LMR) received from the second device, the LMR including a first channel response indicative of a first arrival time of the first NDP at the second device and a first phase shift associated with the first NDP. The device may generate a second channel response indicative of a second arrival time of the second NDP at the device and a second phase shift associated with the second NDP. The device may determine that the first channel response does not match the second channel response, and may identify an attempted attack.

Enhanced feedback for secure mode wireless communications

A method and apparatus to estimate and mitigate platform noise incurred at a wireless device coupled to the platform. A computing device includes a platform including a first processor, a wireless device coupled to the platform, the wireless device including a second processor, and a plurality of antennas coupled to the wireless device. At least one of the first processor or the second processor is configured to determine characteristics of a platform noise incurred at the wireless device in real-time due to utilization of circuitries and processing components on the platform and implement an adaptive real-time and application/context-aware measure to mitigate the platform noise based on the determined characteristics of the platform noise.

The device may cause to send a frame to the first station device, wherein the frame comprises the secure LTF.

Secure sounding signal without unintentional beamforming effect

An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) may encode an EHT PPDU for transmission on a plurality of subchannels. The EHT STA may determine a spectral mask to apply to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission of the EHT PPDU. When preamble puncturing is performed, the EHT STA may apply an overall spectral mask to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission. The overall spectral mask may be based on an interim spectral mask and a preamble-puncture spectral mask. The subchannels may be in a 6 GHz band and the EHT STA may determine if preamble puncturing is to be performed for one or more of the subchannels based on a presence of incumbents in the one or more of the subchannels, although the scope of the embodiments is not limited in this respect.

The STA may refrain from communication in a first subset of resource units (RUs) that overlap the portion of the channel occupied by the incumbent device. The STA may determine a combined RU that comprises two or more RUs of a second subset of RUs that do not overlap the portion of the channel occupied by the incumbent device. The STA may encode a physical layer convergence procedure protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission in the combined RU. The PPDU may be encoded in accordance with joint coding across the RUs of the combined RU.

Further, the physical layer configured to determine a number of bits in the bit stream having a highest likelihood of being erroneous as weak-bits and determine locations of the identified weak-bits in the bit stream. The Bluetooth receiver further comprises medium access control layer processing circuitry configured to receive the bit stream and information about the determined locations of the identified weak-bits from the physical layer processing circuitry. Further, the medium access control layer is configured to flip one of the weak-bits and a sequential bit in the bit stream in order to generate a modified bit stream, run a respective cyclic redundancy check on the bit stream and the modified bit stream and compare results of the cyclic redundancy checks on the bit stream and on the modified bit stream.
