The device may determine a second bit stream used to generate a random phase. The device may determine a secure a long training field (LTF) based on a combination of the first bit stream and the second bit stream. The device may cause to send a frame to the first station device, wherein the frame comprises the secure LTF.

A device may generate two or more sounding signals to be sent using two or more antennas to a receiving device across a plurality of symbol intervals. The device may apply a first masking signal to a first sounding signal of the two or more sounding signals over a first symbol interval of the plurality of the symbol intervals. The device may apply a second masking signal to a second sounding signal over a second symbol interval of the plurality of the symbol intervals. The device may cause to send the two or more sounding signals to receiving device using the two or more antennas.

Secure sounding signal without unintentional beamforming effect

An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) may encode an EHT PPDU for transmission on a plurality of subchannels. The EHT STA may determine a spectral mask to apply to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission of the EHT PPDU. When preamble puncturing is performed, the EHT STA may apply an overall spectral mask to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission. The overall spectral mask may be based on an interim spectral mask and a preamble-puncture spectral mask. The subchannels may be in a 6 GHz band and the EHT STA may determine if preamble puncturing is to be performed for one or more of the subchannels based on a presence of incumbents in the one or more of the subchannels, although the scope of the embodiments is not limited in this respect.

The device may generate scrambled data using the initialization seed. The device may cause to send the frame comprising the scrambled data to a first station device.

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to enhanced constellation shaping. A device may generate payload bits associated with a frame, wherein the payload bits comprise a first portion and a second portion. The device may send the first portion of the payload bits through a shaping encoder. The device may generate shaped bits from the shaping encoder. The device may determine a number of amplitude bits based on the shaped bits. The device may generate parity bits from the shaped bits and the second portion going through an low-density parity-check (LDPC) encoder. The device may select sign bits comprising the second portion and a first subset of the parity bits. The device may send the amplitude bits with the sign bits to a modulator before transmitting the frame to a first station device.

A device may determine a mapping table associated with uniformly distributed bits into amplitudes with desired probabilities. The device may predict a number of output bits for an input block. The device may compare the first length of the first output bits to the second length of the second output bits. The device may select the first mask or the second mask based on the comparison. Enhanced constellation shaping

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to tone mapping for a high-efficiency (HE) trigger-based (TB) null data packet (NDP) feedback physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU). A device may identify a frame received from a second device. The device may determine, based on the frame, a resource unit allocated to the device, wherein the resource unit is associated with a 20 MHz sub-channel of a bandwidth. The device may determine, based on the resource unit and the bandwidth, tones associated with a HE short training field (HE-STF) of a HE TB NDP feedback PPDU. The device may send the HE TB NDP feedback PPDU to the second device in the 20 MHz sub-channel, wherein the HE TB NDP feedback PPDU includes the tones.

Enhanced tone mapping for trigger-based null data packet feedback

An access point (AP) configured for multi-AP coordinated beamforming (CBF) and multi-AP joint transmission (JT) in an Extremely High Throughput (EHT) wireless local area network (WLAN), when operating as a master AP (AP1) in a multi-AP network, is configured to encode a null data packet announcement (NDPA) frame for multi-AP channel sounding. The NDPA is configured for transmission to a second AP (AP2) and a plurality of stations (STAs) of an EHT group. The NDPA may be encoded to have an information field indicating whether a sounding sequence type is for JT channel sounding or CBF channel sounding. The NDPA may further be encoded to include fields identifying the APs participating in the channel sounding. In these embodiments, the channel sounding sequence for JT can be reused for the channel sounding on CBF.

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an invalid location measurement report (LMR) indication. A device may identify a first null data packet (NDP) received from a first station device during, wherein the first NDP is used for channel sounding. The device may perform a time of arrival (ToA) calculation based on the NDP. The device may determine an invalid indication associated with the first NDP based on the ToA calculation. The device may generate an LMR comprising of the invalid measurement indication. The device may cause to send the LMR to the first device.
