A door handle device for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle includes a handle part and a cleaning device emitting UV-C light. The handle part is adjustable at least between a retracted non-use position and an extended use position. The cleaning device is configured in such a way that it loads the handle part in its non-use position with UV-C light and cleans it as a result.

An underbody stiffening and covering module is provided, which has a flat, non-load-bearing covering component made from a plastic material. At least one reinforcing strut is connected firmly to the covering component, the reinforcing strut extends along a predetermined load path and has a respective connection device on its end sections, with which, together with the covering component, is able to be connected to a predetermined underbody section at force application points.

Underbody stiffening and covering module

A connection structure between a first and a second component, the second component being formed from a steel material. The first component is made from a lightweight construction material of the minimum possible weight and having a high degree of stiffness, such as a fiber-reinforced plastic. Both components are connected by a metallic intermediate component, which is non-detachably connected by a plug-in means of connection with the first component.

A motor vehicle body includes stiffening struts created from a composite fiber material. Each stiffening strut is connected at both ends to the adjoining body components via a connection section. The fibers of the stiffening strut run essentially unidirectionally in the direction of loading of the stiffening strut and the cross-sectional area of the stiffening strut remains constant at least between the connection sections of the stiffening strut along a length of the stiffening strut.

A diagonal strut device () for reinforcing arrangement on an undercarriage of a motor vehicle. The diagonal strut device () has a plurality of struts () made from a fibet-reinforced plastic composite material, which extend away from a central joint element (). Each strut () can be connected to the undercarriage via it's end facing away from the central joint element (). For this, a connecting joint element () is arranged on the end of each strut () facing away from the central joint element (). The central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are formed from a light metal material. The central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are then connected to the struts () by an at least firmly bonded cast joint. Further, a method for the production of a diagonal strut device (), as well as a motor vehicle undercarriage, which uses the diagonal strut device () for reinforcement.

A three-dimensionally shaped body module component and a method for the production thereof, which is assembled from a plurality of body module segments (). The body module segments () are sections of continuously pultruded fiber plastic composite pultrudates, wherein each pultrudate has a basic structure consisting of endless fibers () laid in accordance with the force flux with respect to a predetermined geometry of the component. Furthermore, the basic structure has at least one passage () per body module segment () for receiving a connecting means (), so as to connect at least two of the body module segments (). The fibers () laid in accordance with the force flux are laid around the passage (), and, furthermore, a stabilization structure () made from fibers is arranged around it.

Body module component, and method for the production thereof

The invention relates to a method for the production of a bodyshell structure for a motor vehicle, wherein a sheet-like textile support element impregnated with a curable matrix material is provided and, following the positioning of suitable reinforcing and molding elements, molded around at least one mold core, whereupon the matrix material is cured. After the removal of the at least one mold core, a single-piece bodyshell structure joined by adhesive force remains. The invention further relates to a bodyshell structure produced by means of this method.
