The invention relates to a signaling method for a network system. In this solution, a common analog read signal is fed via a signaling channel to all nodal units under control of a control unit. The read signal is modified by modification means units at each nodal unit for identification of the nodal unit and data indicating the state of each nodal unit is added to the read signal. In the control unit, the state of each nodal unit is determined based on the modification made and the read signal.

Signaling method and signaling arrangement

The present invention relates to intelligent fuse box () for a vehicle's multiplex power distribution system, the fuse box including outputs () for driving the vehicle's functional components/actuators and/or cable buses () equipped with intelligent_nodes (), the latter in turn having outputs for driving functional components/actuators (), and further including means serving fuse functions between the outputs () and the vehicle's power supply bus (). The fuse-function means are controlled solid-state switches (). The fuse box () includes inputs () for receiving messages controlling the ON/OFF state of solid-state switches () and a microprocessor (), the latter controlling the solid-state switches () based on a program stored in the microprocessor memory () and on current limits predetermined in configuration data (). In addition to the actual fuse functions, the controlled operation of the solid-state switches offer a plurality of auxiliary functions such as rush current limiting, programmable reconfiguration of current limits, dynamic fuse functions (e.g., to implement a low-current Asleep mode in a parked vehicle) and measurement of system overall load current.

Intelligent fuse box for the power distribution system of a vehicle

A current distribution system for a vehicle, wherein a high-level data bus ( ) and a low-level data bus ( ) are consistent with different protocols and are in a data transfer communication with each other by way of an adapter ( ). Intelligent nodes ( ) associated with at least the low-level data bus ( ) are provided with a standard kernel software and with node-specific configuration files, whereby the kernel software is adapted to represent the desired functions of a node, including the reception and transmission of control messages, as well as a controlled current supply to electrical devices ( ) in a vehicle. The node configuration files are stored as a system configuration in the adapter ( ), from which a proper node configuration file can be loaded into a given node ( ).

Current distribution system for a vehicle

The object of the invention is a control circuit for eliminating a voltage and current spike from a circuit formed by a switching transistor (T ) and a load (L). The base control of the switching transistor (T ) is arranged to be dependent on the voltage of the switching transistor's DRAIN (collector) which is forced, by means of the control circuit, to follow a predetermined desired value or wave form.

Push button arrangement for an elevator including a push button (7) with a mounting element (1), a mounting base (10), a cover plate (17) and a circuit card (3). The push button (7) is attached to the mounting element (1) using double-sided tape. The push button (7) is provided with an opening (8) for a call acknowledgement light. The mounting element (1) is fitted by its legs (2) in holes (19) provided in the circuit card (3). The circuit card (3) is provided with membrane switches (4) and attached to the mounting base (10) by gluing so that its lugs engage holes (11) in the mounting base (10). The cover plate (17) covers the push button panel.

In a display (202) comprised in an elevator system, more than one floor symbol (205) but less than all the floor symbols corresponding to different floors in the elevator system are highlighted at a time. At least the floor symbol corresponding to the current position and that corresponding to the next floor in the travelling direction is highlighted. The display is preferably so controlled that it scrolls the floor symbols (205) with respect to the car symbol (203). When the elevator car is at a given floor, the floor symbol corresponding to such floor coincides with the car symbol, and when the elevator car moves away from the floor, the floor symbol ceases to coincide with that car symbol, and as the car comes to the next floor, the corresponding floor symbol coincides with that car symbol.

Display apparatus and method dynamically indicating elevator movement

A remote controller linkage is established to an elevator system having one or more elevators and using a data transmission network (21) comprising at least one serial communication bus for the transmission of control signals between the operating and/or other devices belonging to the system, car calls, landing calls and other information obtained from and/or generated by the devices included in the elevator system. At least one of the serial communication buses belonging to the data transmission network (21) of the elevator system is connected to a functional unit (3,7,10,13) fitted to receive messages sent to it by a remote controller (1,22). On the basis of the message received, the functional unit (3,7,10,13) transmits into the serial communication bus a message containing at least one control, call or other datum and the bus address of the transmitting functional unit (3,7,10,13).

An operating panel (5) for an elevator car, containing car call buttons (7), signalling devices and other signs representing information. The control panel of the elevator car is replaced with a touchscreen display (1) incorporating a passage control feature. The touchscreen display (1) is also used as a maintenance tool for the checking of elevator equipment.

A remote controller linkage is established to an elevator system having one or more elevators and using a data transmission network (21) including at least one serial communication bus for the transmission of control signals between the operating and/or other devices belonging to the system, car calls, landing calls and other information obtained from and/or generated by the devices included in the elevator system. At least one of the serial communication buses belonging to the data transmission network (21) of the elevator system is connected to a functional unit (3,7,10,13) fitted to receive messages sent to it by a remote controller (1,22). On the basis of the message received, the functional unit (3,7,10,13) transmits into the serial communication bus a message containing at least one control, call or other datum and the bus address of the transmitting functional unit (3,7,10,13).

The protected network consists of a signal bus provided with terminal impedances and connected via impedances to the supply voltage (+VIN) and signal ground (GND), and signal devices which are connected to the bus. To protect the network, the voltages on the bus are monitored, and the bus impedance is measured by means of a test pulse. If either the measured voltages, impedance, or both are outside an allowed range, at least the supply voltage (+VIN) of the signal devices is disconnected.
