Techniques for reconfiguring a data pipeline in a computing environment are described. In operation, a request for modifying a transformation standard of a first data pipeline is received, where the first data pipeline exists between a data ingestion system and a first database instance of a computing environment, and the first data pipeline transforms the data received from the data ingestion system in accordance with the transformation standard. A second data pipeline is then established in parallel to the first data pipeline, the second data pipeline is established between the data ingestion system and the first database instance in response to the request for modifying the transformation standard, and the second data pipeline processes the data received from the data ingestion system in accordance with a modified transformation standard. The second data pipeline is then initiated to transform the data received from the data ingestion system. The first data pipeline is then disconnected from the data ingestion system and the first database instance.

Data pipeline reconfiguration

Various embodiments described herein relate to hypermedia enabled procedures for industrial workflows on a voice driven platform. In this regard, a system compares media data related to a step of a video procedure for an industrial task with a category dictionary to determine a category for the step of the video procedure. The system also links, based on the category for the step of the video procedure, the step of the video procedure with at least a portion of a second video procedure to generate a hypervideo that comprises an industrial sub-task for the industrial task. Furthermore, the system displays the hypervideo via a head-mounted visual display of a wearable device.

Hypermedia enabled procedures for industrial workflows on a voice driven platform

A method of creating and/or modifying a video for use in a head-mounted display while a user of the head-mounted display is carrying out a task that is illustrated by the video. The method may include processing an initial video to automatically determine when the initial video does not cover key aspects of the task and thus when video mashing is desired. When video mashing is desired, a supporting video is obtained to cover the missing key aspects, and the initial video and the supporting video are automatically mashed, result in a composite video for subsequent display on the head-mounted display.
