The present disclosure provides embodiments of intelligent cabin management systems and methods. In embodiments, a system includes video cameras for capturing live video streams, an enhancement module for enhancing the live video stream, at least one analytics module for analyzing the enhanced video stream to generate analytics data, and a reporting system for reporting the generated data to at least one of avionics system, crew system and maintenance crew system. The at least one analytics module includes models trained to identify features and reconcile the same against known parameters to determine at least one of compliance and damage. In use, the system alerts crews to issues requiring correction or attention to ensure efficient cabin management.

Intelligent cabin management system for automated check of basic safety norms and in-flight safety procedures

A method for monitoring an aircraft cargo bay using an aircraft interface device may comprise receiving image data of a cargo bay of an aircraft. The method may further comprise detecting movement in the cargo bay, directing a camera to activate in response to that movement, and processing the captured image data. The aircraft interface device may include pre-trained neural network based algorithms configured for event classification. The method may further comprise generating an alarm based on a theft event classification and transmitting the alarm to an aircraft.

Systems and methods for identifying damage and theft in an aircraft cargo bay

A method is disclosed here. The method includes receiving an input from an aircraft, determining a towing status of the aircraft based on the input, and sending a message to a transmitter to transmit the towing status of the aircraft. Also disclosed herein is a system including an aircraft including a nose landing gear, a first controller, and a transmitter, wherein the first controller is configured to determine a towing status of the aircraft based on a number of sensor signals received from the aircraft, and the transmitter is configured to transmit the towing status and a tow truck configured to tow the aircraft, the tow truck including a second controller and a receiver, wherein the receiver is configured to receive the towing status from the transmitter, and the second controller is configured to provide an indication of the towing status of the aircraft.

Smart aircraft towing system

A baggage handling system is described. The baggage handling system may include cameras. Video from the cameras may be automatically monitored. The video may be automatically monitored in real time across the entire journey of the baggage. The baggage handling system may provide an automated approach to identify theft of airport bags\luggage without manual effort required by humans. The bags may then be safely transported through an airport without theft or tampering. The automated surveillance and responding system may not depend on airport staff to monitor for baggage theft. The automated surveillance and responding system may detect multiple types of baggage theft/tampering.

Systems and methods for passenger bags tampering and theft identification

A windshield wiper system for use on an aircraft includes a controller and a wiper assembly including a wiper arm, a wiper blade, and a moving block. Further, the windshield wiper system includes a rail assembly including a rail assembly rack, a plurality of electromagnets, and an electrical interface. The electrical interface and the plurality of electromagnets induce a force on the moving block of the wiper assembly, causing the wiper assembly to sweep across the windshield of the aircraft. The controller is coupled to the rail assembly and the controller is configured to direct the motion of the wiper assembly through command signals to the rail assembly.

Embodiments include sensing, by a current sensor, a current parameter of a drive coil of an ice detector circuit, and monitoring a performance and health of the ice detector circuit based at least in part on the current parameter, where the drive coil is coupled to a feedback coil that is configured to provide a feedback signal to a driver circuit to control the drive coil. Systems and methods for operating sensors in an aircraft are provided. Aspects include receiving, by a processor associated with a sensor, a first request to test a transmitter function of the sensor, transmitting a test message to one or more other sensors associated with the aircraft, and listening to a transmitter associated with each of the one or more other sensors to determine a transmitter status of the sensor, wherein the transmitter status of the sensor is a pass status based on receiving a confirmation from at least one of the one or more other sensors. Aspects also include transmitting air data parameters and health status parameters associated with the air data probe to the one or more other air data probes.
