Methods and systems for managing configuration of data processing systems are disclosed. Configuration of data processing systems may be managed by limiting connectivity to components of data processing systems and credentialing access for the components. To enable access to components of data processing systems, the operation of the components may be updated for limited durations of time to allow various devices to communicate with these components. While allowed to communicate, the components of the data process system may restrict access to credentialed users.

Management of configuration of data processing systems

Automatically generating a container image assembly file is provided. A definition of an application is assessed to determine a base container image and application libraries needed as add-ons for a container image corresponding to the application. A library dependency graph of flow from the base container image to add-on libraries for the application is generated. The container image assembly file is generated based on the library dependency graph of flow from the base container image to the add-on libraries for the application. Vulnerabilities corresponding to the add-on libraries of the container image assembly file are removed.

Automated container image assembly

Aspects include a method, system and computer product for routing a signal in a mesh network. The method includes identifying a first intermediate node and a second intermediate node disposed between a first node and an access point, the first node being coupled for communication to both the first intermediate node and the second intermediate node. A first set of parameters is determined associated with the first intermediate node. A second set of parameters is determined associated with the second intermediate node. A route is determined for transmitting a signal from the first node to the access point using at least one of the first intermediate node and the second intermediate node, the route being chosen based at least in part on the first set of parameters and the second set of parameters. The signal is transmitted on the route from the first node to the access point.
