A vehicle-based apparatus for noise injection and monitoring includes a first processing device coupled to a plurality of components and a second processing device coupled to the plurality of components. The second processing device injects noise into at least one component among the plurality of components and monitors behavior of the at least one component in response to the injected noise. The second processing device determines, based, at least in part, on the monitored behavior of the at least one component responsive to the injected noise, a susceptibility to the injected noise exhibited by the at least one component and transmits signaling indicative of the determined susceptibility to the injected noise exhibited by the at least one component to the first processing device.

Vehicle-based apparatus for noise injection and monitoring

A host system can be queried to determine whether new data has been received based on a first time interval. After completion of the first time interval, a determination can be made as to whether the new data has been received and whether a portion of the new data was not stored. In response to the portion of the new data not being stored, the host system can be queried to determine whether subsequent data has been received based on a second time interval where the second time interval is different from first time interval.

One or more usage parameter values associated with a host system are obtained. The one or more parameter values correspond to one or more operations associated with a memory sub-system. An expected time period during which a set of host data will be received from the host system is determined in view of the one or more usage parameter values. In response to a determination, in view of an indication received from the host system, that the set of host data will not be received at the expected time period, a media management operation is performed at memory units of the memory sub-system.

A method includes receiving, by a processing device, an indication that a host system is to become idle for a first period of time, identifying, by the processing device based on the first period of time, a background operation at a memory sub-system, and causing, by the processing device, execution of the background operation at the memory sub-system during the first period of time.

Background operation selection based on host idle time

One or more usage parameter values are received from a host system. The one or more parameter values correspond to one or more operations performed at the memory sub-system. Based on the one or more usage parameter values, a first expected time period is determined during which a first set of subsequent host data will be received from the host system and a second expected time period is determined during which a second set of subsequent host data will be received from the host system. A media management operation is scheduled to be performed between the first expected time period and the second expected time period.

An indication can be received that a host system is to become idle for a period of time. A background operation can be selected from multiple background operations based on the period of time that the host system is to become idle. The selected background operation can be executed during the period of time that the host system is to become idle.
