A foldable elongate grabber tool includes a proximal section and a distal section that are foldable relative to each other between a folded position and an extended position. An actuation member is attached to the proximal section and actuates a cable coupled to engagement elements disposed at the distal section. A hinge mechanism connects the proximal and distal sections. The hinge mechanism automatically locks the proximal and distal sections relative to each other when they reach the extended position. The proximal and distal sections are biased to open automatically from the folded position to the extended position. A hinge pin is biased toward a locked position, and is blocked from moving to the locked position until the proximal and distal sections reach the extended position.

A surface cleaning device comprises a cleaning head having a housing, a fluid tank configured to store fluid and be in fluid communication with the cleaning head, a cleaning pad coupled to the cleaning head and configured to remove debris from a surface, and a plurality of nozzles distributed along the cleaning pad, wherein the fluid tank is configured to release at least some of the fluid such that the released fluid flows through the plurality of nozzles onto the cleaning pad.

An improvement to elongate tools for engaging objects from remote distances includes a connection between the rod on which the engagement elements are provided and the handle of the that allows for the orientation of the rod with respect to the handle to occupy at least two pre-selected fixed positions which are angular positions approximately 90 degrees from one another.

The pet grooming tool includes a handle and a head. The head consists of a lower head portion and an upper head portion. A toothed uni-directional blade is mounted on and extends from the lower head portion. The head portions are rotatably connected so that the tool can be used in either direction. The head is pivotally connected to the handle such that the angle between the blade and the handle can be adjusted.
