A method and a system for assessing readiness of a user, the method including obtaining the user's movements; using the obtained user's movements to determine a nature of the period, wherein the nature of the period is selected from an activity period and a rest period; measuring at least one biosignal of the user during the rest period; determining a rest summary for the rest period, based on the measured at least one biosignal and at least one biosignal of a previous rest period; determining an activity summary for the activity period, based on the obtained movements of an activity period and obtained movements of at least one previous activity period; determining a body response summary based on the rest summary and the activity summary; and calculating a readiness score based on the body response summary and a previous body response summary, whereby the readiness score indicates a level of readiness of the user.

Method and system for assessing a readiness score of a user

The present invention discusses a system and method for defining an optimal wakeup time with an alarm, which method takes into consideration at least two persons. Sleep monitoring devices, such as health rings or bed sensors, measure parameters of the sleepers, and a server determines sleeping phases from the measurement results. In that regard, skin temperature, heart rate and amount of motion can be tracked with the ring. The analysis combines at least two persons and sets rules so that no-one is preferably woken from a deep sleep phase. The determined alarm time is a given time period before the final alarm deadline. An optimal alarm time is calculated in the server, and the alarm is triggered in a mobile device, through the wearable ring, or by another alarming device or means.

A method for measuring stress based on the heart rate (HR), the heart rate variability (HRV), and the activity level of a user includes recording the HR, the HRV, and the activity level of a user at various times during the day. Thereafter, the three values are correlated to arrive at a stress level of the user. The stress level is estimated based on a predetermined set of algorithms and analysis methods. The physical disposition and the activity levels of the user are automatically detected and the vital parameters, i.e., the HR and the HRV recorded at times that are deemed fit for conducting orthostatic tests.

A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for conservation of battery life with a shared network connection. In the context of a method, a connection is caused to be established with a local network. The local network includes a modem which is in connection with a network. The method also causes at least one mobile device to be disconnected from the network following the connection to the local network. While the at least one mobile device is disconnected from the network, the method receives a signal indicating that a connection should be established with the network. A tactile feedback which differentiates a user selectable part from other user selectable parts is provided. Provided herein are a method, apparatus and computer program product for interpreting user input and mitigating erroneous inputs on a device. In particular, methods may include receiving an indication of a first touch event, determining, by a touch mediation function, if the first touch event is an erroneous touch event, causing the first touch event to be sent to an application in response to the touch mediation function determining that the touch event is not erroneous; and causing the first touch event to not be sent to the application in response to the touch mediation function determining that the first touch event is erroneous.
