Concepts for populating a data entry field with data are proposed. Specifically, by identifying a context of a data entry field of a target application and analyzing a dataset from source applications based on the identified context, the data entry field may be automatically populated with relevant data. In this way, data from source applications may be transferred to data entry fields of a target application without the need for a user to memorize (or otherwise manually transfer) the data. Accordingly, this decreases time consumed and frustration of the user, while reducing the rate of copying errors.

Aiding data entry field

A collaborative development project having a plurality of contributors is provided. A first contributor of the plurality of contributors as an influencer of the collaborative development project. Contributions of the influencer to a sample project are analyzed to determine a development characteristic of the influencer. One or more development rules are then generated based on the determined development characteristic of the influencer. Further, a second contributor of the plurality of contributors may be identified as a follower of the development project. Identified contributions of the follower may then be modified based on the obtained one or more development rules.

Collaborative development

Provided is a computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for multi-location copying and context-based pasting. A processor may collect a plurality of copied data elements into a clipboard manager. The processor may compare, in response to a paste function being initialized into an input field of a plurality of input fields, the copied data elements and associated metadata with contextual data associated with the plurality of input fields. The processor may calculate, based on the comparing, a data environment confidence value and an individual confidence value for each copied data element with respect to a level of matching the contextual data associated with the input fields. The processor may generate, based on the calculating, an overall confidence value for the copied data elements. The processor may compare the overall confidence value of the copied data elements to a set of confidence thresholds associated with completing the paste function.

Multi-location copying and context based pasting

A computer-implemented method, computer system, and computer program product for contextualizing searches in a collaborative session having two or more users. The method may include generating, by a processor, one or more keywords from user context sources of the collaborative session. Users engaged in the collaborative session may use computing devices interconnected with each other via a collaborative tool. The user context source may comprise a document, a file, a webpage, a search history, or an application. Context of the collaborative session, having a start and stop, may be established using a natural language processing system. The method may include adding one of the one or more keywords to the search string of one of the users participating in the collaborative session. In some embodiments, one user may be an expert user whose user context source may be the only user context source collected and analyzed during the collaborative session.

Contextualizing searches in a collaborative session

A computer system includes a processor configured to predict a level of commonality between a first website and a second website. The computer system is further configured to automatically apply cached search data input at the first website to the second website based at least in part on the level of commonality. A display unit displays the second website along with the cached search data.

Contextual search input sharing across websites

Concepts for automatically generating a summary of a resource are presented. One example comprises analyzing at least a portion of electronic content comprising a reference to a resource to determine a context identifier for the electronic content, the context identifier describing subject-matter of the electronic content. Content of the resource is also analyzed to determine one or more content identifiers for the resource, the one or more content identifiers describing subject-matter of the resource. A summary of the resource is then generated based on the context identifier and the one or more content identifiers.

Summary of a resource

A method of checking a link in a body of text comprises receiving the text and detecting a link to an external source within the received text. At least a portion of the received text is selected for analysis and one or more important keywords within the selected portion of the received text are determined. Text is obtained from the external source by accessing the link. At least a portion of the obtained text is selected for analysis and one or more important keywords within the selected portion of the obtained text are determined. The more important keywords within the selected portion of the original received text are compared with the important keywords within the selected portion of the obtained text from the link, and an output is provided depending upon the result of the comparison of the one or more important keywords within the selected portion of the received text with the one or more important keywords within the selected portion of the obtained text.

Comparing keywords to determine the relevance of a link in text

Embodiments for collaborative software development project having a plurality of contributors is provided. One such embodiment comprises determining if the contributor of a newly provided contribution to program code of the collaborative software development project is a primary contributor. If it is determined that the contributor is the primary contributor, the program code of the collaborative software development project is analyzed to determine one or more software development rules. Program code of the collaborative software development project may then be modified based on the determined one or more software development rules.
