An auto-commissioning server may be used in the auto-commissioning of virtualized Radio Access Networks (vRANs) by receiving a plurality of parameters from a site controller of a cell site, an inventory, and a plurality of network entities; automatically generating a day zero configuration based on the received plurality of parameters; deploying the network function(s) of the vRANs into a cloud server based on the automatically generated day zero configuration; receiving a power-on notification message from a RU of the cell site, wherein the power-on notification message may indicate the RU of the cell site is ready for radio signal transmission; and activating the deployed network function(s) of the vRANs before transmitting a radio signal from the RU of the cell site.

Method and system for auto-commissioning virtualized radio access networks

To automatically onboard network functions to a credential vault, a orchestration processor actuates establishment of an cluster account for a network cluster, and actuates a cluster configuration of a processor of the vault to enable authentication of a network cluster. For each of a plurality of network functions associated with the network cluster, the orchestration processor generates an identifier, sets values for parameters of an initialization parameter set, actuates assignment of access permissions for a code address on a memory of the vault, actuates assignment of elevated access permissions for a credential address on the vault memory, and actuates association of the network function with a cluster account of the network cluster. The vault memory thereby defines credential addresses each corresponding to a respective network function.

System and method for automatic onboarding of network functions to a credential vault

A method includes automatically configuring a cluster using pre-defined templates of one or more servers positioned in an edge location. The method also includes creating a plurality of configuration profile templates. The method also includes obtaining one or more parameter values. The method also includes defining a plurality of parameters in each of the plurality of configuration profile templates based upon the one or more parameter values obtained. The method also includes creating a master template based on the plurality of configuration profile templates. The method also includes storing the master template in a repository. The method also includes automatically creating a planned inventory file based on the master template. The method also includes configuring the cluster of the one or more servers based on the planned inventory.

Method and system for creating server cluster on edge location

A method includes identifying a master template from a repository corresponding to one or more servers in a preconfigured cluster positioned at an edge location. The identifying also includes receiving an input from a user defining a new configuration set by the user. The identifying also includes changing one or more parameter values in at least one configuration profile references. The identifying also includes creating a new master template based on the one or more parameter values. The identifying also includes creating a new planned inventory file based on the new master template. The identifying also includes changing an existing configuration of the one or more servers in the preconfigured cluster during runtime, based on the new planned inventory file.
