A system and method for automatic generating suggestions for personalized reactions. A suggestion generation module includes a plurality of collector modules, a credentials module, a suggestion analyzer module, a user interface module and a decision tree. The plurality of collector modules collect information accessible by the user and important to the user from other systems such as e-mail systems, SMS/MMS systems, micro blogging systems, social networks or other systems. The information from these collector modules is provided to the suggestion analyzer module. The suggestion analyzer module cooperates with the user interface module and the decision tree to generate suggested reactions or messages for the user to send. The suggested reactions or messages are presented by the user interface module to the user. The user interface module displays the original message, other information about the original message such as others' responses, and action buttons for sending, discarding the suggested message.

Automated generation of suggestions for personalized reactions in a social network

A method may include receiving, by a computing device, a recovery message directed to a first account associated with a messaging service provider. The recovery message may include access information associated with a second account of an online service provider. In an embodiment, the method may include, in response to receiving a recovery message, determining whether one or more suspicious events involving the first account have occurred, in response to determining that one or more suspicious events have occurred, prompting a user to provide authentication information in order to access the recovery message, receiving one or more responses from a user, verifying the one or more responses, and in response to determining that each of the responses is correct, granting access, by the computing device, to the recovery message.

Methods and systems for handling recovery messages

A method includes receiving a plurality of trusted assets, generating a first signature set for a known software application, and generating a second signature set for a subject software application. Each trusted asset is associated with at least a threshold number of trusted authors. Each signature in the first signature set corresponds to a known asset that is associated with the known software application. Each signature in the second signature set corresponds to a subject asset that is associated with the subject software application. The method further includes generating first and second filtered signature set based on the first and second signature sets, respectively, by excluding signatures corresponding to the trusted assets. The method also includes generating a similarity rating for the subject application based on a comparison of the first filtered signature set and the second filtered signature set.

The plurality of collector modules are coupled to respective systems to collect information accessible by the user and important to the user from other systems such as e-mail systems, SMS/MMS systems, micro blogging systems, social networks or other systems. The information from these collector modules is provided to the suggestion analyzer module. The suggestion analyzer module cooperates with the user interface module and the decision tree to generate suggested reactions or messages for the user to send. The suggested reactions or messages are presented by the user interface module to the user. The user interface module also displays the original message, other information about the original message such as others' responses, and action buttons for sending, discarding or ignoring the suggested message.
