A connector () for connection to MOLLE webbing having a plurality of MOLLE loops (), includes an elongate body portion and first and second arrays of tabs () extending from the body portion arranged in laterally opposing relationship relative to one another, tabs () being configured for coupling to the MOLLE loops () so as to attach the connector to MOLLE webbing. The body portion may be substantially planar and the first and second arrays of tabs () are substantially co-planar with the body portion. The body portion has a width of 2.5 to 3.8 millimetres and the tabs have a pitch either individually or in a plurality thereof of 2.5 to 3.8 millimetres. The body portion may include an internal channel for receipt of a component, such as a cable, wire or tube. The connector can be fitted to a MOLLE webbing by disposing the tabs below one or more loops of the MOLLE webbing, disposing a component between the connector and the substrate, whereby the component is held by and covered by the connector. The body portion can be bent, curved or folded and attached to at least one row and at least one column of the MOLLE webbing.

System and method for attaching, routing and concealing cables on load carrying webbing

A conductive assembly () includes a conductive fabric core () which includes at least one electrically conductive element woven with the fabric core, optionally first and second impermeable layers () enveloping the fabric core (), first and second spacer layers () overlying or within the impermeable layers () and first and second conductive shield or screen layers () overlying the spacer layers. The shield layers are electrically coupled together in the preferred embodiment for electromagnetic shielding. The spacer layers () provide a stable and uniform spacing between the shield or screen conductors () and the conductive fabric core ().

Conductive textile assembly with electrical shielding structure

A woven fabric formed of a first set of yarns extending in a first direction, woven together with a second set of yarns extending in a second direction. The first set includes first conductors, while the second set includes second conductors. The first and second conductors cross over one another at crossing points. At each crossing point, a non-conductive element is disposed directly between the first and second conductors so as to provide a physical barrier between the first and second conductors. At some crossing points, a physical electrical connection is provided between crossing conductors in order to provide a permanent connection between the conductors. Non-conductive tie yarns are provided to fix the conductors in position. The structure provides a robust yarn with minimized risk of short circuiting between crossing conductors which are intended to be kept separate.
