An article of manufacture comprising a first section having a first dielectric material and a second section having a second dielectric material and provided on an outer surface of the first section. The second dielectric material of the second section is more flexible than the first dielectric material of the first section, and the second section comprises elements of an organic material located partially on an outer surface of the second section. A coaxial cable using the article of manufacture and a method of manufacturing of the article are also disclosed.

Dielectric structure, a method of manufacturing thereof and a fire rated radio frequency cable having the dielectric structure

A pressurization dehydrator comprising an air compressor and a controller connected to enable automatic operation of the dehydrator. The dehydrator is implemented as a freestanding, bench-top unit having a housing that encloses a baffle plate on which the compressor is mounted. The bottom panel of the housing is affixed to the plate using dampers inserted therebetween. The plate has legs protruding through the corresponding openings in the bottom panel for supporting the whole unit in the upright position on the bench top. Some or all of the legs may not have contact with edges of the openings. In operation, the legs provide an efficient mechanical pathway for transferring some vibrational energy of the plate to the bench top, thereby diverting said energy away from the housing. The circuit board of the controller is affixed to the housing, which beneficially reduces vibration levels transferred to the electronic components of the controller.

Vibration isolation to protect electrical circuits from vibration-induced damage

A device includes a head having a material having a plurality of pores, wherein at least some of the pores from the plurality of pores each have a size that is smaller than a water molecule and larger than an air molecule such that the air molecules can pass through the pores and the water molecules are prevented from passing through the pores; and an elongated body extending from the head and having a thread on an outer surface thereof and having a conduit extending longitudinally through the elongated body to the head. The device is configured to fasten a first surface to a second surface using the thread of the elongated body.

Fire rated multiconductor cable

A coaxial cable () includes an outer barrier () that seals the coaxial cable from air and protects the cable's conductors () form oxidation in a fire. Such an outer protective barrier may include a fire retardant tape. A dielectric () separates the conductors and may comprise a ceramic () embedded in a dielectric material (), or ceramic beads in a braided ceramic mesh.

Fire rated radio frequency cable

According to an embodiment, an apparatus comprises a fiber-breakout transition configured to break out optical fiber sets from a first end of an optical fiber cable. The fiber-breakout transition comprises a first channel configured to receive an end segment of the optical fiber cable. The fiber-breakout transition further comprises a plurality of second channels. Each of the plurality of second channels is configured to receive and mechanically attach a buildup tube for holding one or more optical fibers. The transition has an interior cavity connecting the first channel to the plurality of second channels. Some of the channels have cross-sections whose diameters increase in a stepped manner with distance away from the interior cavity of the transition.

Optical fiber and power transition design

Systems and related methods for reducing passive intermodulation (PIM) include a combination of an antenna control unit (ACU) and a remote electrical tilt (RET) system. The ACU may be used to generate rotational motion of an output drive shaft in response to an input tilt control signal. The RET system couples to the output drive shaft of the ACU and may be used to convert the rotational motion into translational motion for modifying a phase shift of an antenna beam. PIM may be substantially eliminated by providing electrical isolation between the ACU and RET system in the form of a non-conductive connector that engages the draft shaft of the ACU.

Methods and devices for reducing passive intermodulation in RF antennas

A mechanical assembly provides an attachment of an antenna tower to an antenna that includes back ring attached to an antenna reflector. The assembly includes a horizontal beam and a bracket. The bracket includes a first, e.g. planar, portion and a second, e.g. planar, portion that meet at a corner. The first portion is configured to fasten to the antenna back ring and the second portion is configured to attach to the horizontal beam. The second portion includes a pivot slot for receiving a first fastener connecting the bracket to the horizontal beam, and includes a circular hole for receiving a second fastener connecting the bracket to the horizontal beam.

Load-resistant antenna mount

A hybrid cable for telecommunications systems is disclosed. The hybrid cable may include a plurality of fiber-optic cables and power cables extending within an armor member and an outer jacket in a main body portion of the hybrid cable, and extending outside of the armor member and the outer jacket in a termination portion of the hybrid cable. Shielded tube assemblies may be attached to the power cables in the termination portion to provide electrical shielding to the power cables in the termination portion of the hybrid cable. The shielded tube assemblies may be attached to the armor member to electrically ground the shielded tube assemblies. A method of constructing a hybrid cable is also disclosed.
