The method may include: acquiring data of a spatial environment infrastructure, dimensioned by a coordinate system; defining a second spatial environment as a subspace of the first and dimensioned by its own coordinate system with a first marker item and a second marker item; creating a SLAM map of the second environment with two SLAM marker items; recognizing the SLAM identifiers; aligning the coordinate system of the SLAM map to the coordinate system of the second environment; recognizing a first and a second marker identifier; determining an absolute position and orientation of the second spatial environment relative to the first environment; defining the information element in relation to a component of the infrastructure; determining coordinates of the element in the second environment; and augmenting the physical infrastructure with the information element at the spatial coordinates.

In one example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented method includes receiving, by a virtual reality processing system, a depth map from an augmented reality processing system, wherein the depth map is a map of a scene. The method further includes authoring, using the virtual reality processing system, an augmented reality experience in a virtual reality environment based at least in part on the depth map. A method is for a medical imaging X-ray device including an X-ray generator, to which the collimator is assigned, an X-ray detector, a patient table for positioning a patient to be X-rayed, and a wireless, hand-held operator device including a touchscreen. In an embodiment, the method includes generating a display, visualizing a current setting of the collimator, on the touchscreen; adjusting the collimator according to operating data describing a manipulation of display elements of the display; determining position information, describing at least one of a position and orientation of the operator, from sensor data of at least one sensor; selecting a perspective, using the position information determined, corresponding at least approximately to a viewing angle of an operator with respect to the patient table; and generating the display for three-dimensionally visualizing, showing an X-ray beam with the collimator settings adjusted, at the perspective selected.

Method for operating a collimator of an X-ray device and X-ray device

The method provides detection of a plurality of spatial parameters which are assigned to one or both forearms of an operator. Processing markers generated from the spatial parameters are visualized in a virtual scene. The operator activates processing markers and carries out processing operations by changing the position of his or her forearm(s). After the processing operations are complete, the operator deactivates the assignment between processing marker and manipulation marker by rotating a forearm. A particular advantage of the method disclosed herein compared with conventional methods lies in the activation and deactivation using the rotation of a forearm of the operator. A rotation of the wrist may be carried about largely independently of the direction in which the forearm is pointing. In this manner, the operator may use shoulder rotation and elbow flexion to change the position of the forearm in order to change spatial parameters for a processing marker, while processing operations may be deactivated and/or activated by an independent rotation of the forearm.

A method is for controlling an imaging device including at least one component, movable according to an operator input via a smart device including at least one smart device sensor. The method includes recording, via the at least one smart device sensor, sensor data defining at least one of movement and position of the smart device in a space of the imaging device where the smart device is situated; determining, from the sensor data recorded, position data defining the position and an orientation of the smart device relative to the at least one component, and/or movement data defining a movement relative to the at least one component; and evaluating the at least one of position data and movement data to select at least one of the at least one component, and/or determine an operator input in relation to at least one of the at least one component.

Method and operating system for controlling a medical technology facility with a movable component

When an optical motion detector of a room device detects movement in a room in which it is installed, the room device transmits a radio message including its position. Upon receiving the radio message, a mobile device measures the signal strength to determine whether it is high. If the movement detected by the optical motion detector correlates chronologically with movement detected by an inertial movement sensor of the mobile device, the mobile device concludes that the mobile device is located in the room or in proximity of the position of the room device. The identity of the mobile device is protected, as no server or other device is required for positioning to which the mobile device would have to disclose the identity, position or sensor information thereof.
