Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for enabling the reconfiguration of services supported by a network of devices. Such reconfiguration can be realized dynamically and in real time without compromising the security of the overall system from external threats or internal malfunctions. These systems, devices and methods may provide a first functional stack supporting a previous version of a specific service and the provisioning of a second functional stack dynamically and in real-time that supports an updated version of the specific service. In addition, an administration function may be included in the embodiment such that the administration function manages and controls the functional stacks and network operations. Using these mechanisms, an existing service can be changed dynamically or a new service can be added dynamically in a secure manner without interruption of other existing services.

Devices, systems, and methods for enabling reconfiguration of services supported by a network of devices

Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for managing multimedia traffic across a common wireless communication network. Embodiments may include content devices, end point devices, a network node, and a wireless dongle. The network node and the wireless dongle may have application functions transmitting and receiving application data streams including a video application. The video application may include a conversion engine to compress, expand, or convert video data. Further, both the network node and the wireless dongle may transmit downstream video streams and receive upstream video streams. In addition, the network node may have a master controller function and a node management function, and a dongle management function each managing video traffic streams and application data streams. In addition, the dongle management function controls admission of a video traffic stream originating from the wireless dongle to the wireless communication network.

Methods, systems, and devices for providing a plurality of services to premises over one or more communication networks and providing one or more advertisements over a plurality of service virtual networks as well as business process associated such methods, systems, and devices are disclosed. Systems and devices may include a primary server, one or more secure access nodes and a secondary server that supports one or more services to one or more end point devices. Business process associated with such services may include revenue sharing for providing such services as well as commissions and transactions fees. Particular service may also include providing cross-service functional data, targeted advertising and targeted e-commerce services.

Each of the virtual machines may receive a first set of service data for a service of the one or more services; process the first set of service data using the one or more software applications to generate a second set of service data and data instructions associated with the second set of service data; provides a service security function for the service; provide a service operating system; mine the first set of service data, including analytical information; and transmit the second set of service data and data instructions associated with the second set of service data to a display interface that may be a communication interface.

Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for providing increased security when multiplexing one or more services at customer premises. Such systems and devices may include one or more virtual machines that support a service, a service operating system, protocol functions, and protocol security functions including system, devices, and methods for, analyzing protocol data and generating protocol security data. In addition, the system, devices, and methods provide an administration function for each virtual machine that allows monitoring the protocol security data and provides a protocol alerting mechanism that reports protocol security trigger events. Moreover, the system, devices, and methods have a common layer providing a common operating system and common security functions. The protocol security functions and common security function utilize conventional and fuzzy logic rules to generate protocol security data and common security data.

Devices, systems, and methods for providing increased security when multiplexing one or more services at a customer premises

Methods, systems, and devices for providing one or more virtual networks for a plurality of services are disclosed. The device may include a secure access node coupled to a wide area communication network and a premises communication network. The secure access node may have a node software platform, one or more node processors, a node storage device, and one or more node communication interfaces. Further, the secure access node may receive a plurality of data packets through one of the one or more node communication interfaces. The node software platform may execute on one of the node processors and may include a node deep packet inspection engine, a node rules generation engine, a node rule check and notification generation engine, a node service segregation engine, a node communication software application, and a node service adapter software application.
