Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for receiver-assisted channel access in shared radio frequency spectrum. A receiver, such as a user equipment (UE) may transmit a measurement report to a transmitter, such as an access network entity, that indicates channel occupancy as measured at the receiver. In some cases, the receiver may identify resources for signal measurement and reporting that are configured by the transmitter, and provide an interference measurement report based on the signal measurements. The interference measurement report may indicate whether a channel is occupied, or an occupancy level of the channel. Resources may be configured for multiple beams, with the interference measurement report including interference measurements for the multiple beams. Further, the signal resources may provide resources for a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, through signal resource sets that span multiple slots.

Techniques for interference measurement reporting for receiver-assisted channel access

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for reporting content processing times to a base station to allow the base station to efficiently schedule bi-directional communications one or more UEs. A content processing time may correspond to the time taken by a UE to process one or more downlink signals received in one or more downlink transmissions. In some examples, the UE may report a content processing time for each downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may report one or more content processing times for multiple downlink transmissions. The base station may use the content processing times to configure an appropriate gap between downlink and uplink transmissions such that the UE may have sufficient time to process downlink signals before transmitting one or more uplink transmissions in response to the one or more downlink transmissions.

UE feedback of content processing time for bi-directional traffic

An apparatus for wireless communication at a UE is provided. The apparatus is configured to receive a configuration to report interference measurement information indicating interference measurements for each interference measurement resource of a set of interference measurement resources and Rx beam information used by the UE for performing interference measurements on each interference measurement resource of the set of interference measurement resources. The apparatus is configured to receive a set of interference measurement reference signals on the set of interference measurement resources, and to measure interference on each interference measurement resource of the set of interference measurement resources to obtain the interference measurement information. Each interference measurement is through one Rx beam of a set of Rx beams. The apparatus is configured to transmit, in response to the received set of interference reference signals on the set of interference measurement resources, the interference measurement information, and corresponding Rx beam information.

Interference data collection with beam information for ML-based interference prediction

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for sharing a user equipment (UE)-initiated channel occupancy time (COT) with a base station (BS) by transmitting receiver-side assistance information on an uplink shared channel of an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. In some aspects, the UE may perform a clear channel assessment (CCA) prior to an uplink transmit opportunity, and if the CCA is successful, transmit the receiver-side assistance information on the uplink shared channel to share the COT with a BS. Multiple uplink transmit opportunities may be indicated to the UE send the receiver-side assistance information. In some examples, the uplink transmit opportunities may be configured grant occasions for a configured grant or scheduled by downlink control information. By transmitting to the BS, the UE may share the COT with the BS, and the BS may send downlink data to the UE during the COT.

Receiver-side assistance information using multiple uplink transmit opportunities

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for managing beam selection. In one aspect, an initiating wireless device may determine whether a pre-grant acknowledgement associated with a first beam has been received from a responding wireless device within an expected receive time. The initiating wireless device may generate an indication to prevent the initiating wireless device from using the first beam for a blocking duration in response to determining that the pre-grant acknowledgement associated with the first beam has not been received within the expected receive time.

Managing beam selection

Disclosed is a method of wireless communication. The method is performed at a user equipment (UE). The method comprises receiving, from a network entity, downlink control information (DCI) for a downlink transmission, wherein the downlink transmission is based on a rate-splitting multiple access scheme, and wherein the downlink transmission comprises a common stream, a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) for the common stream, a private stream and a DM-RS for the private stream, determining, based on the DCI, a DM-RS configuration for the DM-RS for the common stream and for the DM-RS for the private stream, and receiving, based on the DM-RS configuration, the downlink transmission.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure one or more linear combinations, of a set of beams, from a radio access network (RAN) node. Accordingly, the UE may transmit a report, based at least in part on measuring the one or more linear combinations, to the RAN node. The one or more linear combinations may be indicated in one or more rules stored in a memory of the UE or may be indicated in a system information block or a radio resource configuration message. The apparatus receives, from a UE, a timing indication associated with a bandwidth, a subcarrier spacing, or a waveform. The timing indication identifying a delay duration based on a processing timeline for the UE. The apparatus receives from the UE, or transmits to the UE, a first data channel having the bandwidth, the subcarrier spacing, or the waveform scheduled based on the timing indication. The first data channel is transmitted or received at a first time based on the timing indication.

Wireless communications systems and methods related to accessing a channel based on an interference condition in a wireless communication network are provided. For example, a method of wireless communication performed by a wireless communications device may include receiving, from a second wireless communication device, one or more signals associated with a beam parameter, determining, at each of a plurality of locations, a signal measurement for at least one received signal of the one or more received signals, and determining, based at least in part on a cumulative distribution of the signal measurements at the plurality of locations and a reference probability distribution, whether the second wireless communication device satisfies an interference condition. Other features are also claimed and described.

Divergence statistical approach for narrow beam-based channel access

A method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a base station, a listen-before-talk (LBT) configuration message indicating whether category 2 (Cat2) LBT operations are enabled or disabled for the UE. The method further includes receiving, by the UE from the base station, a channel occupancy time (COT) message configuring the UE with a COT. The method further includes performing, by the UE, an LBT operation based on the LBT configuration message and based on the COT message.

Category 2 (CAT2) listen-before-transmit (LBT) operations for wireless communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a network may schedule a user equipment (UE) for multiple transmission/reception point (TRP) communication. The network may transmit a single downlink control information (DCI) message to the UE to dynamically configure multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for the multiple TRPs. In a first example, the DCI message may include a bit field indicating a set of antenna ports and the multi-TRP scheme for transmission. In a second example, the DCI message may include a separate field indicating the multi-TRP scheme (e.g., based on UE capabilities). In a third example, the DCI may indicate redundancy versions (RVs) for different TRPs in an RV field or across multiple fields. In a fourth example, the DCI may include an indication of a precoding resource block group (PRG) size that may be interpreted differently based on the indicated multi-TRP scheme.

Sub-band interference level indication using physical uplink control channel communication

In an aspect, a PDCCH and a PDSCH are transmitted by a BS to a UE, whereby the PDDCH includes a first DCI part and the PDSCH includes a second DCI part. In an example, a TBS associated with the PDSCH may be determined (e.g., either by factoring or ignoring resource elements associated with the second DCI part). In another example, the PDSCH may be associated with a modulation scheme with a constellation having constellation points, whereby the second DCI part in the PDSCH is restricted to a subset of the constellation points. In another example, rate-matching may be performed for one or more resource elements of the second DCI part.

This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for uplink channel transmission for multiple transmit receive points (TRPs). In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) resolves overlapping physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs) in a slot or overlapping PUCCH(s) and PUSCH(s) that are mapped to a same TRP in a multi-TRP scenario and that are mapped to two or more different TRPs in the multi-TRP scenario. For example, in a multi-TRP scenario that includes two TRPs, the UE may eliminate overlap of these uplink channels for each of the two TRPs individually and may additionally eliminate overlap of these uplink channels between the two TRPs.
