A configurable bra provides additional support and comfort to accommodate a wide variation in breast shapes and weights. The variations can arise from factors such as: (i) asymmetry; (ii) mastectomy; (iii) period changes; (iv) maternity changes; (v) breast feeding; and (vi) orthopedic inputs (e.g., weight distribution, center of gravity change, volume shift, etc.). In one or more embodiments, adjustments for circumference and amount of vertical lifting of the breasts is provided to handle different women or changes that occur for the same woman.

Configurable support bra

The present invention discloses a cable passer device and method for placement of a cerclage cable for internal fixation of bone. The device comprises a cannulated body including a proximal end, a straight portion, an arcuate portion, and a distal end. The straight portion extends from the proximal end, and the arcuate portion extends from the straight portion and ends at the distal end of the cannulated body. A continuous groove extends from the proximal end to the distal end through the straight portion and the arcuate portion of the cannulated body. The groove extends radially along an internal diameter of the cannulated body. An opening of the groove facilitates to receive the cerclage cable therein. The width of the opening remains the same throughout an entire length of the continuous groove. The groove includes varying angle to facilitate unimpeded movement of cerclage cable therethrough.

Cable passer device

A support belt assists caretaker in moving an ambulatory-impaired person. A strap has a plurality of attachment fixtures such as grommets that are longitudinally spaced and has a buckle for engaging the strap around a torso of an individual. The connector is engageable between a selected two of the attachment fixtures to draw one portion of the strap to closely encircle the ambulatory-impaired person and to form another portion of the strap into a grasping loop. A second support belt can be attached to the strap by two or more belt connector in order to double the portion of the torso encircled or to support buttocks or thigh of the ambulatory-impaired person.

A surgical container has more than one surgical sponge, more than one dispensing containers containing respectively the more than one surgical sponge, and more than one disposal containers each proximate to and visually associated respectively with the more than one dispensing containers to receive a used surgical sponge, wherein a selected surgical sponge is visible in one of the dispensing container or the corresponding disposal container.

Container for surgical absorbent articles

A needle storage device includes a base having a center post, and a tray disposed around the post. The tray has dividers defining multiple slots for receiving needles and other surgical instruments. A cover over the tray has an opening which exposes only one of those slots at a time. A needle other sharp device may be inserted through the opening into the slot below. The tray has a hub or button, exposed through a central opening in the cover, which can then be depressed and released to move the tray up and down between the base and the cover. A mechanism comprising teeth on both the tray and the cover angularly increments the tray beneath the opening, exposing a neighboring slot each time the tray is depressed.

Medical sharps storage device and method of using the same

The present invention includes an ergonomic arm sling and method for using the same. The ergonomic arm sling includes a two-piece system that can be used by placing the affected arm into a pouch and securing it with a pouch strap and attaching it to a second portion which is worn around the user's torso. The two pieces can be attached through a connecting means, but are otherwise unattached. The torso portion of the ergonomic arm sling includes a long strip with an opening in the middle such that an unaffected arm can be placed through. Once the end of the strip are connected around the torso, the shoulder of the unaffected arm can bear the weight of the affected arm.

The present invention is a multi-dose device for insertion into a vial containing a fluid. The device has a double-nested needle inserter for insertion into the vial. Opposite the double-nested needle inserter is an air opening stack and a Luer lock port.
