A holding adapter for fixing control and signaling devices, including pushbuttons, on a front plate, includes: a housing having a first recess; and a mounting plate mounted in the housing and having a second recess. The second recess is arranged flush with the first recess so that a control or signaling device is guidable in an axial direction through the two recesses. The mounting plate is displaceable in the axial direction relative to the housing between a first end position and a second end position so as to provide a vertical compensation when the control or signaling device is fixed to the front plate, depending upon a thickness of the front plate.

Push button

A contact element which, on account of its low installation depth, is suitable for use in switch panels of low overall height and can be combined with various keys. The contact element has a main body, two connection terminals, which are obliquely mounted in the main body, for electrical conductors, two busbars which are in each case electrically connected to one of the connection terminals and run from the respective connection terminal to a bearing arranged centrally in the main body. A tappet which is spring-mounted in the central bearing can be moved between a first and a second position and is fitted with a contact bridge which electrically short-circuits the two busbars in one of the two positions, wherein a portion of the tappet, which portion projects out of the main body, is designed to be coupled to a key.

Contact element

A security switch has a switch head with an actuator and having a button top. The security switch is mounted in a housing wall. The actuator is designed so as to actuate contact elements of a switch module upon actuation into the switch position. The switch module is extended by a signaling switch block with contact elements located in the signaling flow path, wherein, in the assembly state of the security switch, the signaling switch block is subjected to an actuation pin that is rigidly arranged thereon. if the assembly state is undone or changed, the actuation pin disengages from the signaling switch block and signaling flow path opens. The actuation pin and signaling switch block are located outside the actuation region of the actuator of the security switch.

A modular electrical device combination includes an operator control module and a computer module that can be electrically coupled to the operator control module. The operator control module has a fastening portion on its rear side for installation into a mounting panel. Mechanical connecting means are provided in an extension at a free end of the fastening portion.

A pushbutton for latching and momentary contact functions that is used to actuate contact elements includes a hollow cylindrical housing and a switch plunger displaceable in a lengthwise direction and non-rotatably guided in the housing. An open ring element is rotatably supported on the switch plunger. A spring and stop device for enabling a resting position of the pushbutton is provided. The housing includes an approximately heart-shaped latching guideway for the latching function disposed at an inside wall of the housing. The housing also includes a longitudinal groove for the momentary-contact function and disposed at the inside wall of the housing approximately parallel to the latching guideway and to an actuating direction. Also provided is a guide pin capable of being repositioned between the latching guideway and the longitudinal groove using a tool through an access opening defined by the housing. The guide pin projects radially outward from the open ring element.
