An eye surgery systemcomprises microscopy opticsand an OCT deviceto generate a light-optical image and an OCT image of an eye fundus, a controllerand a visualization system. The controller comprises a data interfacefor receiving a preoperative OCT image and may control the visualization system to display a representation of the received preoperative OCT image. The controller may control the OCT deviceto record an intraoperative OCT image and may control the visualization system to display a representation of the recorded intraoperative OCT image. The controller may adjust a magnification of the representation of the intraoperative OCT image and/or a magnification of the representation of the preoperative OCT image so that the magnifications of the representation of the intraoperative OCT image and the magnification of the representation of the preoperative OCT image are equal.

Eye surgery system

An operating microscope () for observing an eye () is provided. The operating microscope () comprises a main objective () and a fundus imaging system () that is positionable in the beam path () between the eye () and the main objective (), said fundus imaging system having an ophthalmoscopy magnifier (). The main objective () of the operating microscope () has a focal length in the range between 90 mm and 160 mm. The fundus imaging system () also can comprise an optics group (), the dispersion properties of which are matched to the dispersion properties of the ophthalmoscopy magnifier () in such a way that the optics group () compensates a chromatic aberration of the ophthalmoscopy magnifier ().

Operating microscope

The invention relates to an optical system for examining an eye by means of optical coherence tomography. The OCT system is designed in such a way that at least a first and a second state of the optical system can be selectively set by controlling the variable optical unit. In the first state, the OCT measurement beam has a measurement focus at an object distance from the objective, wherein the object distance has a value between 50 millimeters and 400 millimeters. In the second state, the measurement beam has defocusing at the same object distance, wherein the defocusing corresponds to a distance of a virtual or real focus from a position of the object distance that is greater than 100 millimeters.

A varioscope optical unit has a positive member () with a positive refractive power and a negative member () with a negative refractive power arranged along an optical axis (OA) so that the negative member follows the positive member along an observation direction (B). At least one of the members is displaceable along the optical axis. Each member has a first termination lens surfaces () counter to the observation direction (B) and second termination lens surface () in the observation direction. The second termination lens surface of the positive member and the first termination lens surface of the negative member are concave when viewed in the observation direction (B) and have radii of curvature of at most 500 mm. The second termination lens surface of the negative member is convex when viewed in the observation direction (B) and has a radius of curvature of at most 70 mm.

Varioscope optical unit and microscope having a varioscope optical unit

The disclosure relates to an optical system for inspecting an eye, having an OCT system which is configured to generate a measurement beam, which is incident on an object region in a converging manner to form a measurement focus. The OCT system has a beam expander which is disposed along the measurement beam between the scanning system and the objective lens and generates an intermediate focus between the scanning system and the objective lens. The OCT system is configured to generate different values of a beam waist diameter of the beam waist by means of controlling the controllable beam expansion of the beam expander. At the different values of the beam waist diameter, an axial beam waist position of the beam waist is substantially identical.
