A microscopy method is for producing an electronic image of an object, wherein the object is imaged with an adjustable optical imaging scale on an image detector. The method includes: selecting a parameter for the electronic image, wherein the parameter can be influenced by the optical imaging scale and differs from the image field dimensions, and setting a setpoint value range for the parameter, setting a total imaging scale for the electronic image, wherein adjusting or controlling the parameter of the electronic image is implemented such that, at the same time, the parameter of the electronic image lies in the specified setpoint value range with a tolerance and the set total imaging scale is obtained, wherein the optical imaging scale forms a basis for a manipulated variable of the adjustment or closed-loop control and a digital image magnification is carried out on the basis of the set total imaging scale.

Microscopy method and microscope for producing an image of an object

An ophthalmic surgical microscope includes a main objective lens, through which an observation beam path passes, and a confocal optical system configured as a refractometer to determine the refraction of an eye. The optical system includes a measurement light source to generate a measurement light beam, a light detector to measure an intensity of measurement light and an optical unit to direct the measurement light beam onto the retina of the eye and to return measurement light reflected back at the retina to the light detector. The optical system includes an adaptive optical module (AOM) to modify a wavefront of the measurement beam path such that an intensity of the back-reflected measurement light changes. A spherical equivalent (SE) of the ametropia of the eye is determined based on a setting of the AOM, at which the measured intensity of the back-reflected measurement light has a maximum.

An optical system images an object region with an optical beam path in an image plane of an image acquisition system. The optical system includes a first optical assembly through which the optical beam path passes and a second optical assembly arranged in the optical beam path on the side of the first optical assembly facing away from the object region. A surgical microscope for imaging structures of an eye includes: a front optical unit, an illumination device which has an illumination-radiation-emitting illumination source and which illuminates the retina of the eye with an illumination spot via an illumination beam path which extends through the front optical unit, a camera and an adjustable camera optical unit disposed upstream thereof, an imaging beam path which extends through the front optical unit and the camera optical unit, and a control device which controls the camera optical unit and sets the latter in such a way that the retina of the eye in the region of the illumination spot is imaged on the camera. The control device varies a focusing state of the camera optical unit and, as a result thereof, records a plurality of images of the retina in the region of the illumination spot, the images being focused in different depth planes, and establishes a refractive value of the eye from these images.

A stereomicroscope includes a stereoscopic main observer beam path having a main observer zoom system, a stereoscopic co-observer beam path having a co-observer zoom system, and a main objective common to the main observer beam path and the co-observer beam path. The co-observer beam path is coupled out from the main observer beam path via a geometrical beam splitter arranged between the main objective and the main observer zoom system, wherein in the co-observer beam path the co-observer zoom system succeeds the geometrical beam splitter and is constructed from lenses having dimensions such that both a first and a second stereoscopic partial beam of the co-observer beam path in each case pass through the lenses.

An illumination optics illuminates an object field of a projection exposure apparatus for microlithography. The illumination optics include a condenser group of optical components which guide a bundle of useful light. An objective group of bundle-guiding components is arranged downstream of the condenser group. At least one component of the condenser group and at least one component of the objective group are displaceable for compensation of deviations of the object field, which is in an actual illumination state, from a desired illumination state.

An optical imaging system generates an image of an object plane and includes a lens system which, in turn, includes a main objective and a reduction optical unit between the main objective and the object plane. The reduction optical unit includes a first composite element with a positive refractive power and a second composite element with a negative refractive power. The first composite element includes a first and second lens. The second composite element includes a third and fourth lens. An object-side first main plane and an image-side second main plane are defined by the lens system. A stereoscopic microscopic providing at least one pair of stereoscopic optical paths comprises an objective system, a first focusing lens having a first optical refractive power and a second focusing lens having a second optical refractive power and at least one actuator. The first optical refractive power and the second optical refractive have different signs. The objective system and the first and second focusing lenses are commonly traversed by the at least one pair of stereoscopic optical paths, respectively. The actuator shifts at least one of these first and second focusing lenses along the at least one pair of stereoscopic optical paths to change the working distance and/or to vary an optical refractive power of at least one of these first and second focusing lenses. The first focusing lens is immediately neighboring the objective system along the at least one pair of stereoscopic optical paths.

Stereoscopic microscope

An optical imaging system generates an image of an object plane and includes a lens system which, in turn, includes a main objective and a reduction optical unit ahead of the main objective. The lens system is aligned along an optical axis and the reduction optical unit includes a first lens with a positive refractive power and a second lens with a negative refractive power. An object-side first main plane and an image-side second main plane are defined by the lens system. The optical imaging system defines an observation beam path which is guided through the lens system so that, in the first main plane and in the second main plane, the observation beam path is at a distance (B) from the optical axis. The first lens is of a first material having a first Abbe number and the second lens is of a second material having a second Abbe number, wherein the first Abbe number is greater than the second Abbe number.
