Controlled display of content across multiple apparatuses

Example embodiments relate to an apparatus, method and computer program associated with modification of captured images. The method may comprise capturing images using an under-display camera of an apparatus in which at least some display pixels which overlie a camera sensor are disabled. The method may also detecting at least one predetermined condition and enabling at least some of the disabled display pixels to modify at least part of an image or images being captured, responsive to detecting the at least one predetermined condition.

Example embodiments relate to an apparatus, method and computer program for output of stereo or spatial audio. The method may for example comprise providing first data representing stereo or spatial audio, providing second data representing other audio and determining an orientation and/or configuration of an apparatus. Examples of the disclosure relate to sharing a device between two or more authenticated users. In examples of the disclosure an apparatus is configured to enable a first user to access one or more applications of a device. The apparatus can then enable authenticating a second user and enable the second user to access one or more functions of at least one application. The apparatus can also detect one or more peripheral devices associated with the second user and configure the apparatus to provide outputs to and/or receive inputs from the one or more peripheral devices associated with the second user. The outputs and/or inputs relate to the one or more functions to which access has been enabled for the second user.

Device sharing

An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: providing a stereo or spatial audio signal produced using individual signals from respective microphones of a user device, the stereo or spatial audio signal representing an audio scene; detecting unwanted noise in at least one of the individual signals; responsive to detecting the unwanted noise, modifying the stereo or spatial audio signal based on a determined level of spatial interest in the audio scene meeting a predetermined condition; and providing the modified audio signal for output via one or more speakers.

Selective modification of stereo or spatial audio

An apparatus and method for image processing is disclosed. The method may include receiving an image from a camera sensor, receiving selection of one or more target objects appearing in the image and tracking the one or more target objects over a plurality of subsequently-received images. For the subsequently-received images in turn, the method may include estimating one or more performance metric(s) associated with performing a fill-in processing operation of the one or more tracked target objects and saving the image as an optimised reference image if the respective performance metric(s) indicate an improved performance over that of one or more previously-received images from the time of receiving selection. Example embodiments are disclosed relating to virtual content. Example embodiments may involve providing video data for output to a user device, the video data representing a virtual scene comprising one or more virtual objects at respective locations in the virtual scene with which a user of the user device may interact during an interactive session. The interactive session may be paused and a resumption input may be received at a second time, subsequent to the first time, for unpausing the interactive session. Responsive to receiving the resumption input, it may be detected that interaction with a particular virtual object, with which the user has interacted prior to the interactive session being paused, is restricted due to physical properties of a real-world space in which the user is located at the second time. The virtual scene may be modified to permit interaction with the particular virtual object without the detected restriction.

An apparatus, method and computer-program is described relating to user control in augmented reality (AR). For example, the method may comprise determining, based on motion of a user, one or more future step locations along a path. The method may also comprise displaying, via an augmented reality display device associated with the user, one or more interactive items. Each of the one or more interactive items may be associated with a respective one of the future step locations and is displayed so as to be perceived at a respective display position which is at or near said associated respective future step location. The method may also comprise detecting a control input associated with a particular interactive item, based at least in part on the user having reached a selection area which is at or near said associated future step location along the path.
