A system and method for cooling electronic components. The system includes a surface. One or more electronic components are coupled to the surface, the one or more electronic components including an integrated circuit in contact with a heat sink. A blower is coupled to the surface, the blower having a first port, a second port, and an impeller that rotates around an axis. The blower is oriented such that the axis is perpendicular to the surface and non-intersecting with the heat sink, wherein the blower moves air across the heat sink.

Method and system for cooling electronic components

A capture device for use with circuit boards of varying thicknesses prevents the spacing between the boards from increasing and has a unitary body including a flexible arm, a clip cavity and multiple living hinges that enable the device to be pivotally self-locked between the circuit boards. The capture device can be engaged and disengaged in poor visibility and limited access areas densely packed with circuit boards. The capture device may be made of a semi-rigid material that provides enough flexibility for the living hinges, yet is rigid enough to exert pressure on the boards and prevent the spacing between the boards from increasing. In alternative embodiments, more than two circuit boards may be secured using alternative configurations of the capture device with either multiple arms or multiple clip cavities.

A water-cooled system and method for cooling electronic components. The system includes a surface. At least one electronic component is coupled to the surface, the at least one electronic component including an integrated circuit. A closed-loop fluidic circuit is coupled to the surface for removing heat from the integrated circuit. The closed-loop fluidic circuit includes a heat exchanger. A blower is coupled to the surface, the blower having a first port, a second port, and an impeller that rotates around an axis. The blower is oriented such that the axis is perpendicular to the surface and non-intersecting with the heat exchanger, wherein the blower moves air through the heat exchanger.

A system and method of using refrigerant for cooling electronic components is presented. The system includes a surface. At least one electronic component is coupled to the surface, the at least one electronic component including an integrated circuit. A closed-loop refrigeration circuit is coupled to the surface for removing heat generated by the integrated circuit. The closed-loop refrigeration circuit includes a condenser. A blower is coupled to the surface, the blower having a first port, a second port, and an impeller that rotates around an axis. The blower is oriented such that the axis is perpendicular to the surface and non-intersecting with the condenser, wherein the blower moves air across the condenser.

Refrigerant-cooled system and method for cooling electronic components

A system for developing photographic film which is ecologically friendly includes a tray holding a pair of film cassettes. One cassette includes negative film sheets which is inserted into a camera where the negative sheets are exposed. The exposed sheets are delivered to a developing apparatus. A second cassette from the tray includes positive film sheets and it is delivered to the same developing apparatus. The empty tray is mounted on the developing apparatus. Each positive film sheet includes a rupturable pod of developer liquid for spreading between mated positive and negative film sheets. Exposed negative sheets and positive sheets are mated and the pod ruptured to spread liquid between the two as the mated sheets move in a first path into an imbibition chamber. A pick at the exit end of the imbibition chamber strips the evacuated pod, negative film sheet and residual developer liquid from the positive sheet and delivers them to the face of a ram. The ram pushes the negative film sheet and other trash materials into the tray originally transporting the cassettes. Subsequently, the positive cassette is deposited within the same container which is then transported to a site for recycling and disposal.

A rail system is used for supporting a plurality of upper and lower modular wall panels adjacent a plurality of spaced apart studs. In one aspect of the invention, the rail system includes an upper rail mounted horizontally to the studs adjacent a ceiling, a lower rail mounted horizontally to the studs adjacent an abutting surface such as a floor, bathtub, or shower pan, and a middle rail mounted horizontally to the studs between the lower and upper rails. Each rail is mountable to the studs regardless of the distance therebetween. The upper rail is adapted to receive an upper portion of the upper wall panels, the lower rail is adapted to receive a lower portion of the lower wall panels, and the middle rail is adapted to receive the upper and lower panels. In another aspect of the invention, an elongated bar is spaced apart from the middle rail and adapted to be mounted longitudinally thereto. In yet another aspect of the invention, a seating assembly is supported by the bar and moveable to a desired location in a shower stall. The seating assembly includes a seat and a backrest having a channel formed in an upper portion thereof which is substantially the same shape as the bar such that said upper portion of the backrest slidably fits over the bar.

A control column includes a housing adapted to be mounted to a side wall of a shower stall adjacent a front edge portion thereof. The housing includes a panel positioned at an angle relative to the side wall and facing a back wall of the shower stall. A shower head assembly extends outward from a top portion of the housing, and water is supplied from a water supply to a bathtub spout or the shower head at a desired temperature and flow rate.
