A switch device () and method for generation of energy for operating the switch device (), wherein the switch device () is provided with a drive unit () interacting with an actuation device operable by a user, and with a moving device () configured to be set in motion by the drive unit (), and with an energy harvester () for providing energy to the switch device () in dependence on a motion of the moving device (), such that energy for commands or other operations is provided to the switch device (). The moving device () is configured to be repeatedly repositioned in relation to a defined zero position, as long as it has kinetic energy, in order to provide kinetic energy which can be converted in electric energy by the energy harvester (). Such an electromechanical device for generating energy can ensure wireless operation of the switch device () without the need of batteries or any other kind of power supply.

Self-powered energy harvesting switch and method for harvesting energy

A lighting device () is provided comprising a light source (), an electronic carrier () comprising a first portion () for carrying the light source and a second portion () for providing an electrical connection to the light source, and a heat sink structure () arranged for a dissipation of heat from the electronic carrier. The heat sink structure comprises at least one lid portion () arranged at an opening () of the heat sink structure, wherein the opening is at least partially closed by the at least one lid portion. Further, the first portion of the electronic carrier is supported by at least one of the at least one lid portion, and the second portion of the electronic carrier is at least partially enclosed by the heat sink structure. The invention hereby provides improved heat dissipation and a facilitated manufacturing of the lighting device.

The manifold housing includes an oblique inner surface and at least one fluidic channel. The fluidic channel ends with one of its ends at the oblique inner surface. The present invention relates to a very simple and robust wireless batteryless device () for harvesting energy. The actuation upon button pressure/release results in a rotation of a first member () around its central axis () leading to a move of an element (), which is loosely fixed at the first member () from a pivot point (), and a rotation around the central axis () of the second member () to which a generator axis of an energy harvester is coupled, the rotation axis of the generator being coincident with the central axis (). Upon full pressure/release, the element () is forced to rotate around the pivot point (), allowing a vertically raised pin () of the second member () to disengage a recessed area () at each end of a slot () of the element () and the second member () to rotate to its rest position.

Energy harvesting device

An electrode assembly that includes an electrode configured to provide electrical contact with a subject's skin through a subject contact surface. The electrode includes an electrode base pad having a first contact surface on a side of the electrode opposite the subject contact surface. The electrode also includes a connector assembly configured to electrically connect the electrode to an external electrical apparatus to transfer electrical signals between the subject's skin and the external electrical apparatus. The connector assembly includes a housing having a second contact surface. The second contact surface is configured to be magnetically and electrically coupled to the first contact surface of the electrode base pad. The connector assembly also includes an electrical connector configured to connect the second contact surface to the external electrical apparatus.

The guidance chain is constructed such that it has a pre-set curvature in an unfolded state, and the radial extensions of the rotation axes are originating from substantially the same point in a folded state of the guidance chain.

An X-ray device includes a C-shaped arm, a first end of which supports an X-ray source and a second end of which supports an X-ray image pick-up device. The C-shaped arm is pivotable about a pivot axis relative to a carriage. The carriage is tiltable about a tilting axis relative to a guide. The guide is rotatable about a propeller axis. The tilting axis extends at an angle relative to the propeller axis. A leverage point on the propeller axis is situated near the tilting axis. The mass center of the C-shaped arm is situated on the pivot axis. The mass centers of the C-shaped arm and of the carriage are situated on a leverage line which extends at least substantially through the leverage point. The mass centers of the C-shaped arm and of the carriage are situated to both sides of the leverage point. The ratio of the distance between the mass center of the C-shaped arm and the leverage point to the distance between the mass center of the carriage and the leverage point is substantially equal to the ratio of the mass of the carriage to the mass of the C-shaped arm.

X-ray device

A magnetic-tape player has a drive arrangement for winding a tape between two reel hubs. The drive arrangement can drive both reel hubs with different transmission ratios by a motor and four transmission devices. The drive arrangement is controlled entirely by a cam disc capable of counterclockwise rotation.
