A sample collection device for collecting a blood sample of a patient, the sample collection device including a first partially deformable shell and a second at least partially pierceable shell with a pre-packaged vacuum sealed between the first shell and the second shell. The second shell may additionally hold a sample container and an automatic mechanical cutting mechanism including a rotatable cutting blade and an actuator spring, the actuator spring being actuatable by pressing the first shell, thereby releasing and rotating the cutting blade. By pressing the first shell, the pre-packaged vacuum is released to a collection opening of the second shell such that the vacuum effects a suction effect so that blood coming out of the incision created by the rotatable cutting blade leaks into the sample container.

Sample collection device, system and method for extracting and collecting a sample of a fluid of a user

A system for extracting and collecting a sample of a fluid of a user, comprising a sample collection device, comprising a sample container arranged to receive said sample; a cap arranged to cooperate with the sample container and having an incision mechanism movable in the cap by a triggering mechanism; a sealing mechanism; a sample extraction device, comprising a vacuum creation mechanism arranged to create vacuum in a vacuum chamber; and a valve control mechanism arranged to release the vacuum from the vacuum chamber to the sample collection device. The system simplifies collection of a fluid (e.g., blood) sample while keeping a high-quality standard for its analysis, minimizes the risk of injury due to handling the sample, reduces the risk of contamination of the collected sample, is compatible with standard blood analysers of central laboratories, requires minimal action from the user, and can collect large volumes of bodily fluid.

A timepiece barrel for pivotal assembly between a plate and a bar and including at least one spring housed between a pivoting drum and a cover and hooked between, at the outer end thereof, the drum and at the inner end thereof, an arbor which pivots integrally with a ratchet about a pivot axis. The barrel includes a one-piece sub-assembly coaxial to the arbor and including the arbor and a boss including a collar for limiting axial shake of the drum, the collar carrying pivotal drive mechanisms for driving pivoting of the ratchet which is axially free in a direction of the pivot axis.

A timepiece barrel for pivotal assembly between a plate and a bar and including at least one spring housed between a pivoting drum and a cover and hooked between the drum at an outer end thereof and an arbor at an inner end thereof, the arbor pivoting integrally with a ratchet about a pivot axis. The barrel includes a one-piece sub-assembly coaxial to the arbor and including, about a boss, at least the ratchet and/or the arbor, and the guide arbor in the plate is fitted into the boss which is integral with the ratchet, the boss forming the guide member in the bar, making it possible to assemble the bar and plate with subsequent attachment of the arbor.

A method for fabricating a barrel arbor for a timepiece includes wire drawing a bar to form a continuous profile, projecting or re-entrant relative to a support sector having a touching-up axis parallel to the bar axis, and whose section matches that of complementary hooking to be made on the arbor and, in a touching-up operation, machining the complete external contour of the arbor. A drive element includes a determined spiral-coiled mainspring including at an inner end hooking having a defined profile and an arbor produced by this method including the support sector for supporting the first coil, and a complementary hooking having a complementary profile to the profile for pivoting together with the mainspring.

A ratchet for winding a barrel, including an axial passage for fitting the ratchet onto an arbor carrying pivotal drive mechanism. The ratchet includes, in the axial passage, a strip spring permitting fitting of the ratchet onto the arbor, and exerting a bearing force on the pivotal drive mechanism, wherein the at least one strip spring forms a complementary drive for pivotally driving the arbor. A timepiece barrel for pivotal assembly between a bottom plate and a bridge includes a spring housed between a pivoting drum and a ratchet and hooked between, at an outer end thereof, the drum, and at an inner end thereof, an arbor, the arbor pivoting integrally with the ratchet about a pivot axis.

A timepiece movement includes a plate and a bridge carrying a barrel, which includes a barrel mainspring between a drum and a receiving surface of a steel or stainless steel core and a cover fixed to the drum. A method of assembling a member made of a first material in a part made of a second material having no plastic domain, includes forming the part with an aperture, inserting a radially flared portion of the member into the aperture, without any stress, and elastically and plastically deforming the flared portion of the member in the aperture by moving two tools towards each other axially, respectively on the top and bottom parts of the flared portion, so as to exert a radial stress against the wall of the part surrounding the aperture, causing the elastic deformation of the part, to secure the assembly in a manner that is not destructive for said part. The member can be a timepiece.
