The present invention relates to a hair care device () for straightening, curling and/or volumizing hair, the hair care device comprising: &#x2014;a first jaw () that extends along a first longitudinal axis () and comprises a first handle part () which is coupled to a first heating tip (), wherein the first heating tip () has a convex-shaped first heating surface (), and distance elements () to prevent a user from getting burned, preferably a bristle plate () that comprises a plurality of bristles or ribs (), wherein the distance elements are arranged at a side () of the first heating tip () opposite the convex-shaped first heating surface (), and wherein the first heating tip () is rotatably coupled to the first handle part () to permit a user to rotate the first heating tip () relative to first handle part () about the first longitudinal axis () &#x2014;a second jaw () that extends along a second longitudinal axis () and comprises a second handle part () which is coupled to a second heating tip (); and wherein the first and the second jaw () are coupled to each other, and via the handle parts () moveable relative to each other between an open position and a closed position.

Hair care device

An epilating device removes hair from a user by pinching, pulling and releasing the hairs. The epilating device has a tweezer portion having an axis and being mounted to rotate about its axis during use, the tweezer portion defining at least one pinching region at its circumference in which hairs may be grasped by tweezer elements. The tweezer portion is mounted in cantilevered fashion by its first end to an attachment portion of a handle. The cantilever arrangement of the tweezer portion allows better access to the tweezer elements, in particular for epilating in areas that may otherwise be difficult to reach.

An epilating device () has a housing () defining a handle () and first and second shoulder portions () forming an open jaw (). A tweezer portion () is mounted in the jaw () for rotation about its axis such that an opening () is formed through the device () from a front side () of the housing () to a rear side () of the housing (), the opening () being bounded by the handle (), the shoulder portions () and the tweezer portion (). A drive mechanism () located within the housing () is arranged to apply rotational motion to rotate the tweezer portion () about the axis. By providing an opening () through the housing () of the epilator () from the front () to the rear side (), collection of hair and debris beneath the tweezer portion () is avoided.

A hairbrush device () comprises a first plurality of brush filaments () and a second plurality of brush filaments (). A property of the first plurality of brush filaments () and a respective property of the second plurality of brush filaments () are different from one another. In order to reversibly select a stiffness of the hairbrush device, the hairbrush device () comprises an actuation element () being in driving connection with the first and second plurality of brush filaments () and configured for being actuatable for selecting the first plurality of brush filaments () or the second plurality of brush filaments () for a use.

A shaving apparatus includes a base part and a shaving head mounted on the base part. The shaving head is pivotably mounted with respect to the base part about a pivot axis that runs parallel to a longitudinal direction of rows of cutting. The pivot axis is offset towards the base part with respect to the rows of cutting teeth in a depth direction relative to the base part. A spring is provided which spring-loads the shaving head counter to the depth direction away from the base part and towards a rest position of the shaving head.
