Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for re-associating content items of a user account of a content management system on a computing device relinked to the content management system. The systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media can include the content management system receiving a request to relink the computing device with a user account of the content management system. The systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media can also include determining a local content item of the client device corresponds to at least one revision of a plurality of revisions of a content item of the user account, wherein the content item is currently removed from the user account. Finally, the systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media can cause the client device to delete the local content item.

Systems and methods of re-associating content items

A system for the management of content creation includes a content management component configured to store portions of an electronic content work and to implement version control of the electronic content work; a defect tracking component configured to store a defect record related to a stored portion of the electronic content work; a publication pipeline component configured to format the electronic content work for publication; and an integration component configured to present a graphical user interface which allows for editing the stored portions of the electronic content work, editing the defect record, and instructing the publication pipeline component to format the electronic content work for publication.

Workflow system and method for creating, distributing and publishing content

An example computer-implemented method to translate a namespace includes receiving a first synchronization request associated with a first content item. This first synchronization request can include a first content item path and come from a client device. The example method can then include determining that a portion of the first content item path matches an entry path in an entry in a namespace mount table. The entry can include a second namespace. The example method can then include modifying the first synchronization request by removing the portion of the first content item path and including the second namespace in the first synchronization request. The example method can then include sending the first synchronization request to a content management system.

Content items are distributed to a content delivery network using identifiers that expresses relationships between the content items and at least one associated content element. When making requests to content delivery network, a requesting Web browser may thus specify the content items according to uniform resource locators that include credentials that allow the content delivery network to verify that the browser is authorized to receive the content items. A system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for updating content are presented. A first version of content residing on a user device is determined, and a second version of content relating to the first version of content is determined. Version information for each file within a second set of files organized within a second archive of the second version of content is sequentially accessed based on a second order of the second set of files in the second archive, the version information indicating a version of each file. A determination is made of when version information indicating a newer version of content has been accessed from the second archive, and new content associated with the newer version is provided to the user device.
