A flexible seal assembly has an elastomeric body with a convoluted intermediate portion for accommodating pivotal movement about the center of a spherical joint and an integral radial seal lip for accommodating rotational movement about a central axis of the joint. The seal lip extends from an inner diameter portion of elastomeric body in proximate relationship to a rigid plastic lip restraining ring which is molded into such inner diameter portion such that flexure loads are carried by the restraining ring and have no effect on the seal lip.

A panel (10) is provided with an improved bracket assembly (20) for organizing the wiring of the panel and for protecting the electrical components (18) extending from the panel. The two-part (22,24) bracket assembly (20) provides a cable-receiving trough (23) from which the individual wires (46,48) are extracted and guided to a connection with the electrical components (18). Selected wires are provided with a grommet (52) which, in turn, are snapped into a keyhole slot (45) in the bracket (20) for supporting the selected wire and for protecting the electrical components from damage.

A vehicle suspension apparatus includes a shaft on which track frames are pivotally mounted, the shaft at the ends thereof having fitted on each end thereof a cap, the track frame on that end having secured thereto a retaining member with a plate in sealing relation with the track frame and disposed between the cap and retaining member.

A governor and control linkage having a first manually operated actuator provides for setting of a shaft and a control arm at a particular operating position through a coupling. The coupling locks the shaft in the aforedescribed desired position while allowing a second actuator to temporarily reposition the control arm at any intermediate setting without disturbing the manual setting. A resilient member is included to return the control arm to the manual setting on release of the second actuator. The prepositionable shaft is movable only in response to the first actuator.

Governor and decelerator control linkage

An operator's cab is mounted on the frame of a track-type tractor by mounting means comprising first and second pairs of upstanding posts. A first vibration damping means connects a lower end of each of the first pair of posts to the frame for isolating the posts against vibrations and for permitting the posts to pivot rearwardly upon release of a second vibration damping means, releasably connecting a lower end of each of the second pair of posts to the frame.
