Synthetic foam compressed between a pattern roller and a smooth compression roller is driven against a cutting edge closely adjacent and tangent to the pattern surface but spaced from the compression roller to reproduce a three dimensional pattern roller surface on the foam sheet. Three dimensional patterns of arbitrary geometries including sharp edged, flat surfaced geometric solids can be reproduced on a foam surface.

Apparatus for three dimensional surface shaping of synthetic foam

A continuous rotary method for surface shaping of resilient material such as synthetic foam. Three dimensional surface geometries of well defined and arbitrary shapes are obtained by pressing foam against a die roller to compress some foam portions to a reduced thickness against raised portions of the die and extrude other foam portions into depressions of the die, and cutting away the extruded portions. The compressed portions return to an uncompressed state after passage against the die roller and form raised areas on the foam surface around depressions corresponding to the cut away portions of foam.

Three dimensional surface shaping of synthetic foam pads by continuous

A two-way mailing envelope formed from a single blank having generally rectangular front and rear panels integrally joined together along an upper panel fold line. A first closure flap is integrally joined along a first flap fold line to the lower edge of the front panel. The rear panel is shorter than the front panel and a second closure flap integrally joined along a second flap fold line to the lower edge of the rear panel. Mailing address indicia are provided on the front side of the envelope in a mailing address read area and oriented to be right side up when the panel fold line is at the top. Return address indicia are provided on the front side of the envelope and oriented to be right side up when the panel fold line is at the top. During the initial mailing, the second closure flap is tucked into the envelope and the first closure flap on the lower edge of the front panel is folded upwardly and sealed to the rear panel of the envelope. The envelope is opened at the first flap and the envelope is resealed for return mailing by folding the second closure flap on the rear panel upwardly and sealing the same against the front panel. The return address indicia is applied to the front of the envelope at a location such that at least the lowermost line of the return address extends into the mailing address read area during return mailing, and the second closure flap is dimensioned so that it covers the original mailing address but leaves the return address indicia exposed for sensing by automatic mail processing equipment during return mailing.

Two-way mailing envelope and method of making and addressing the same

A two-way mailing envelope formed from a single blank having generally rectangular front and rear panels integrally joined together along an upper fold line, and first and second closure flap integrally joined to the lower edges of the respective front and rear panels along lower fold lines. Mailing address indica are provided on the front side of the envelope in a mailing address read area and a return address is provided on the front side of the envelope at a level above the mailing address. During the initial mailing, the first closure flap on the lower edge of the front panel is folded upwardly and sealed to the rear panel of the envelope. The envelope is opened by rupturing the rear panel along the first flap fold line and the envelope is resealed for re-mailing by folding the second closure flap on the rear panel upwardly and sealing the same against the front panel. A second closure flap is dimensioned so that it covers the original mailing address while leaving the return address on the front of the envelope exposed. In one embodiment, a re-mailing address is printed on the second closure flap. In another embodiment, the return address indicia is printed on the front of the envelope so that at least the zip code of the return address extends into the mailing address read area, and the second closure flap is dimensioned so that it covers the original mailing address but leaves the return address indicia exposed for sensing by automatic mail processing equipment.

A cosmetic breath freshener composition, in wafer form, having slow release comprising a multiplicity of microencapsulated liquid droplets of flavoring material contained in a base or carrier. The microcapsules are soluble in the saliva in the mouth to release the flavoring material at sustained rate. The base has an adhesive therein so that the formed wafer can be placed on the lower or upper gums of the user, thus being activated by the saliva in the mouth causing the capsules to release the flavoring material at a sustained rate for long periods of time in the mouth to mask bad breath and also offering a cool feel effect in the mouth of the user.

Sustained release breath freshener, mouth and palate coolant wafer

A business mail envelope is designed to enable it to be used as mail cover for both initial sending and for reply return using printed magnetic ink marking or optical character recognition markings, allowing use compatibly with manual sorting and electronic scanning sorting equipment. The original delivery address remains visible on the face of the envelope when received as return reply mail, but a second flap is used to cover the original postage and cancellation and to key a reader to read the return address rather than the original delivery address. The second flap, used during return mailing, may have a narrower portion coinciding with the position of the return address so that the return address remains exposed when the second flap is sealed to the front face of the envelope. Optical scanner readable key markings may be placed on the second flap to key the scanner to read the return address, and return address bar code information may be placed on the envelope to simplify reading by optical scanning equipment.

Method for oral treatment of dogs and other animals comprising administering a composition having slow release to the gums of dogs, the composition comprising a multiplicity of microencapsulated liquid droplets of flavoring material and anti-plaque agents contained in a carrier. The microencapsulated droplets are soluble in the saliva in the mouth to release the flavoring material and anti-plaque agents. The flavoring material is released at a sustained rate for long periods of time in the mouth to mask mouth odor while the anti-plaque agent prevents plaque build-up during release and in the case of chlorohexidine acetate for several hours thereafter.
