A cutting device in accordance with some example embodiments is provided for use with an arbor assembly. The cutting device includes a blade having a plurality of teeth, and a back plate at a proximal end of the blade. The back plate has an outer end surface in which a plurality of ramp surfaces and pin locking recess are provided. A central through hole extending through the back plate. The ramp surfaces only allow the cutting device to be rotated relative to the arbor assembly in one direction.

A cutting and deburring tool according to some embodiments of the disclosure includes a body portion configured to cut a hole in the workpiece, and a workpiece engaging portion and a shaft extending therefrom. The body portion includes a cutting edge configured to cut a hole in a workpiece and deburring cutting edges configured to deburr a first edge of a hole of a workpiece when the body portion is rotated in a clockwise direction or in a counter-clockwise direction after the hole is cut by the body portion. In some embodiments, a second body portion is provided and includes deburring cutting edges configured to deburr a second, opposite edge of the hole when the body portions are rotated in rotated in the clockwise direction or the counter-clockwise direction after the hole is cut by the first body portion.

A step bit according to some embodiments includes a body including one or more flutes having a cutting edge configured to cut a hole in a workpiece, and a plurality of steps provided on the body. The steps progressively increase in diameter from a first distal step to a terminal proximal step. One or more of the steps have first and second lands. An outer diameter of the first land is less than the outer diameter of the second land. A length of the first land is less than a length of the second land.

An assembly is provided for forming holes in a workpiece. The assembly includes an arbor, a pin sleeve and a cutting device. The arbor has a nose having at least one threaded portion and at least one unthreaded portions on an external surface thereof. The arbor also has at least one pin passageway extending therethrough. The pin sleeve has at least one pin extending from a main body. The arbor extends through the pin sleeve. The cutting device has a back plate and a plurality of teeth extending therefrom. The back plate has a passageway defined by a wall with at least one threaded portion and at least one unthreaded portion. The at least one threaded portion of the cutting device is capable of engaging with the at least one threaded portion of the nose, and the at least one pin of the pin sleeve is capable of engagement with the at least one pin passageway of the arbor to secure the components together.

A driver is used to manually drive a fastening member. The driver includes a shank, a handle provided at an end thereof, and a socket provided at the opposite end thereof. The socket has a receptacle which includes a front portion extending from a front face of the socket a predetermined distance and a tapered portion extending from the front portion a predetermined distance. The front portion is larger than the outer dimension of the fastening member and is formed from walls which are parallel to the centerline of the socket. The tapered portion tapers inwardly from the front portion toward the centerline. The tapered portion extends uninterrupted 360&#xb0; around the receptacle such that a rear edge of the fastening member continuously contacts the tapered portion when inserted therein.
