For example, a system can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components, and a processor that executes the computer executable components stored in the memory, wherein the computer executable components comprise an energy component that determines an energy resource available to a bidirectional charging station electrically coupled to a vehicle, and based on current energy market demand, a unit price applicable to the energy resource, and a charging component that, based upon a defined charging criterion being determined to be satisfied, initiates a transfer of the energy resource between the vehicle and the bidirectional charging station according to the unit price.

Aggregated energy management system—infrastructure

An electric vehicle pre-charging circuit is provided. In one or more embodiments, the electric vehicle pre-charging circuit can comprise a first contactor located on a positive bus between a load and a battery. In various embodiments, the electric vehicle pre-charging circuit can comprise a second contactor located on a negative bus between the load and the battery. In further embodiments, the electric vehicle pre-charging circuit can comprise an on-board charger connected to the positive bus and the negative bus on a battery-side of the positive bus and a battery-side of the negative bus, wherein a phase wire connects the on-board charger to the positive bus on a load-side of the positive bus, and wherein a neutral wire connects the on-board charger to the negative bus on a load-side of the negative bus.

Pre-charging using an on-board charger and electric-vehicle high-voltage architecture

A method can comprise determining, by a first controller comprising a processor, of a first vehicle, a first voltage rating of a first battery of the first vehicle and a state of charge of the first battery. In various embodiments, the method can further comprise determining, by the first controller, based on an output of a second controller of a second vehicle, a second voltage rating of a second battery of the second vehicle and a state of charge of the second battery. In further embodiments, the method can further comprise in response to a determination, by the first controller, that the first voltage rating matches the second voltage rating, transferring, by the first controller, power from the first battery to the second battery, wherein the state of charge of the first battery is greater than the state of charge of the second battery.

Method and system for vehicle-to-vehicle charging of electric vehicles

A converter system for transferring power, a vehicle including such a converter system and a method for transferring power in such a converter system. The converter system includes a first DC-DC module, a second DC-DC module and a first control unit. The first DC-DC module is connected to a first high voltage interface of a high voltage system and to a first low voltage interface of a low voltage system. The second DC-DC module is connected to a second high voltage interface of the high voltage system and to a second low voltage interface of the low voltage system. The first high voltage interface and the second interface are independent of each other. The first control unit is connected to the first DC-DC module and configured to supply power via the second DC-DC module in case of a failure in the first DC-DC module.
