A method and system configured to correct a non-compliant, excessive gap condition between a door and a frame, correct a non-compliant, excessive gap condition between a pair of doors at the meeting edge, correct a non-compliant, excessive gap condition at least using a formed metal edge and mechanical fasteners, and correct a non-compliant, excessive gap condition at least using a formed metal edge and mechanical fasteners, whereby the formed metal edge may vary in dimensions to accommodate uneven gaps.

Method, system and apparatus for controlling excessive gaps of a door

A method and system for achieving compliance for a fire-rated door assembly. To comply with fire rated door assembly codes and compliance, all components, including hardware must be listed and labeled by a certification agency, such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The disclosure may include a hardware preparation filler solution which allows fire-rated doors to maintain fire rating and compliance when removing or modifying hardware, or converting between hardware types.

Hardware preparation filler system and method for fire rated doors

An acoustic door assembly having 1¾″ thickness, a sound transmission class (STC) rating greater than 50, UL10C 20-minute fire rating, and constructed without sheet metal or lead. In an embodiment, the door assembly includes a frame housing a decoupled internal core sandwiched between two mass-loaded vinyl outer faces. The internal core includes a multi-layering of low-density layers for absorbing high-frequency noise, damping layers of mass-loaded vinyl for absorbing low-frequency noise, and a flame-retardant layer. The outer faces are a multi-layered assembly coupled to a frame of the door assembly and in contact communication to the internal core, the outer faces having layers of mass-loaded vinyl, plywood, high-density fiberboard, and a veneer.

A method, system and apparatus configured to correct a non-compliant, excessive gap condition between a door bottom and a finished floor. One example system may include a channel assembly attached to the bottom edge of the door, wherein the channel assembly includes at least one moving component configured to accommodate uneven door bottom gaps across the width of the door and an uneven floor condition.

A laminated countertop assembly can include a first generally longitudinal slab with a first substrate, where the first substrate has lamination on a countertop side of the first substrate and lamination on an edge side of the first substrate that extends along a first portion of a length of the edge side of the first substrate. The first substrate can also include a first miter cut angled into the first substrate and slots extending into the first substrate for receiving biscuits. The laminated countertop assembly can also include a second generally longitudinal slab with a second substrate, where the second substrate has lamination on a countertop side of the second substrate and lamination on an edge side of the second substrate. The second substrate can also include a second miter cut at a corner of the second substrate and slots extending into the second substrate for receiving the biscuits.

Laminated countertop assembly

An article mounting assembly mounts an article to a horizontally extending ballast weight support of a utility vehicle. The mounting assembly includes a coupling member, a plate and a pair of brackets. The coupling member is attached to and spaced apart from the plate. Each bracket has a front end coupled to the coupling member and has a rear end coupled to the weight support. Each bracket is movably coupled to the coupling member so that the spacing between the brackets is adjustable. The article may be a container in which the plate forms a wall of the container, or the article may be a shelf or a component supported by the brackets.

Article mounting assembly

A bunt training device includes a shield with opposite ends which is mounted to a baseball or softball bat using one or more straps. The device is mounted on the bat in a position which allows a batter to slide his or her top hand to the end of the device adjacent the barrel of the bat for bunting practice. The shield protects the batter's top hand from a pitched ball and thereby eliminates or reduces the fear a batter may have when bunting. The device may be formed as a separate shield to be mounted on a conventional bat, or the shield and bat can be formed as a single unit for bunting practice.

Disclosed is an apparatus for providing in-line, three-state, dual flow metering, high pressure relief, for use in a system utilizing compressible or incompressible media, which includes a centrally disposed magnetically homed ball with opposing axially aligned ball mating valve seats, with a high pressure relief spring deployed to control the pressure necessary to trigger high pressure relief.

The invention is useful as the pneumatic damper provides a range of effectively being decoupled from a system. Also disclosed is an apparatus for providing in-line, three-state, dual flow metering, high pressure relief, for use in a system utilizing compressible or incompressible media, which includes a centrally disposed magnetically homed ball with opposing axially aligned ball mating valve seats, with a high pressure relief spring deployed to control the pressure necessary to trigger high pressure relief.

Pneumatic damper

A bearing wear guard includes a slotted body portion cast from a wear-resistant metal. The slots receive two bearing mounting bolts which secure the guard in a protecting position in the path of rocks and abrasive debris traveling towards the bearing and bearing support. An upper edge portion conforms generally to the shape of the lower portion of the bearing. The casting includes a grease zerk-protecting area extending upwardly and outwardly from the upper edge portion to protect the zerk from rocks and abrasive material. Leading and trailing trash shedding surfaces on the body portion prevent trash from catching and building up on the guard. The body portion has an L-shaped cross section also providing protection for the bearing mounting bracket.
