Exemplary embodiments relate to a color changer module including an inlet channel, an outlet channel, a duct channel arranged between them to form a fluidic connection, and a first valve for interrupting the duct channel. A docking valve, lies fluidically in series with the first valve and with which the duct channel can also be interrupted.

Color changer module and color changer

A color changer is provided that includes a base module having at least two input channels and at least one output channel for paint material connectable to each of the at least two input channels. The color changer further includes at least two paint valves, each of the at least two paint valves corresponding to one of the at least two input channels and configured to close the corresponding input channel and to be opened by the application of air pressure, and at least two pilot air channels, each of the at least two pilot air channels corresponding to one of the at least two paint valves and configured to convey air pressure to the corresponding paint valve to open the corresponding paint valve. Each pilot air channel includes a blow hole and a closing device for closing the blow hole.

Paint color changer

A color changer includes a valve module with a first interaction area and a plurality of valves. The valves are connected on their respective inlet side to a respective supply duct and are connected on their respective outlet side to a common collecting duct. The valves are openable and closeable via respective switches by a first actuation end discharging into the first interaction area. The color changer includes a switching module with a second interaction area and one actuator, which discharges by a second actuation end into the second interaction area. The valve and switching modules are arranged with their respective interaction areas adjacent and are displaceable relative to one another. Due to a respective displacement movement, the second actuation end is simultaneously movable with respect to at most one of the first actuation ends into a respective actuation position so that the actuator opens or closes the corresponding valve.

Color changer

A painting system having a painting robot with a stationary base mounted to a wall of a paint booth in cantilever fashion. A stand is mounted to the stationary base and is rotatable around a first axis that is disposed substantially horizontal. A first arm is rotatably mounted to the stand around a second axis, and a second arm is rotatably mounted to the first arm around a third axis. The second arm is operable to rotate around the third axis 180 degrees relative to the first arm. An end effector is connected between the second arm and a painting tool. The end effector is operable to orient the painting tool.
