A method of determining a location of a mobile device in the presence of a spoofing signal includes obtaining current position information associated with the mobile device, determining a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal search window for acquiring GNSS signals associated with a satellite based on the current position information, searching a GNSS signal associated with the satellite based on the GNSS signal search window, and determining updated position information of the mobile device based on at least information of the GNSS signal associated with the satellite.

Determining correct location in the presence of GNSS spoofing

An example method for obtaining data at a vehicle for automobile navigation based on cellular radio frequency (RF) sensing comprising obtaining, with a camera at the vehicle, a camera image of an environment surrounding the vehicle. The method further comprises determining a failure condition of the camera preventing object detection of the camera image, wherein the failure condition is caused by inclement weather, blockage on a lens of the camera, electrical failure of the camera, or a combination thereof. The method further comprises responsive to determining the failure condition of the camera, configuring a cellular communication interface of the vehicle to obtain cellular RF sensing data of the environment surrounding the vehicle. The method further comprises performing the automobile navigation support based at least in part on cellular RF sensing data of the environment surrounding the vehicle.

Aspects presented herein may enhance the navigation function of navigation/map applications or systems when GNSS signals are weak or sporadic. In one aspect, a UE monitors a position of the UE based on GNSS communication, where the position of the UE is monitored using at least one first map layer of a plurality of map layers associated with a map. The UE detects that the position of the UE corresponds to a predefined location when the GNSS communication is below a communication threshold. The UE switches to monitoring the position of the UE using at least one second map layer of the plurality of map layers upon detecting that the position of the UE corresponds to the predefined location, where the at least one second map layer is associated with the predefined location.

Enhanced navigation mode with location detection and map layer switching

A wearable device that can receive a plurality of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) timing signals using an antenna, where the antenna is located in an exterior portion of the wearable device such that the antenna receives GNSS signals at the external portion of the wearable device, without the GNSS signals first passing through an air gap within a housing of the wearable device. The wearable device is configured to determine a geographic location of the wearable device based at least in part on the GNSS signals. The wearable device is configurable to perform underwater dead-reckoning procedures, measuring energy levels during dwell periods, measuring efficiency of swim strokes, sharing wearable device information with other electronic devices, calibrating the wearable device, or a combination thereof.

Devices and techniques for improving reception or compensating for attenuation of GNSS signals during water immersion activities

A signal transfer method includes: transferring a direct current signal between a port of an apparatus and a physical transmission line physically coupled to the port; and transferring: a first signal in accordance with a first wireless protocol to the port from a wireless protocol interface, the first signal being a first radio frequency signal; or a second signal in accordance with a second wireless protocol from the port to the wireless protocol interface, the second signal being a second radio frequency signal; or a combination thereof.

In some implementations, an apparatus may receive a request for the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) position fix information. The request may include an accuracy requirement. The apparatus may determine a set of GNSS bands to use to determine the GNSS position fix information. The set of GNSS bands may comprise one or more bands from a plurality of available GNSS bands, and determining the set of GNSS bands to use may be based at least in part on the accuracy requirement. The apparatus may determine the GNSS position fix information based at least in part on GNSS signals received via the selected set of GNSS bands. The apparatus may provide the GNSS position fix information (e.g., to an application processor). The GNSS position fix information may comprise a GNSS position fix, pseudorange information, or both.

A mobile device comprises one or more processors, a display, and a camera configured to capture an image of a live scene. The one or more processors are configured to determine a location of the mobile device and display an augmented image based on the captured image. The augmented image includes at least a portion of the image of the live scene and a map including an indication of the determined location of the mobile device. The one or more processors are also configured to display the at least a portion of the image of the live scene in a first portion of the display and displaying the map in a second portion of the display. The augmented image is updated as the mobile device is moved, and the map is docked to the second portion of the display as the augmented image is updated.

Systems and methods for detecting and mitigating spoofed satellite navigation signals

Embodiments herein provide for efficient delivery of a package or other item to a precise delivery location using beacons transmitted by a beaconing device, which are detected by a delivery device and used to guide the delivery device to the precise delivery location. Different types of events may be used as triggering events to trigger the transmission of the beacons, and beacons may be encoded to include instructions and/or information to the delivery device for identifying the precise delivery location. According to some embodiments, the beacons may be encoded based on a code unique to the package delivery and/or recipient.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to vehicle sensors. In some aspects, a device associated with a vehicle may obtain, from an external source, calibration data including a first set of measurements related to a position of one or more objects in a reference frame associated with the external source. The device may identify a second set of measurements related to the position of the one or more objects within a field of view of one or more onboard sensors, and update a calibration table based at least in part on a comparison of one or more of the first set of measurements and one or more of the second set of measurements that are most time-aligned. Accordingly, the device may convert sensor-derived location information from a source reference frame to a reference frame associated with the vehicle using the updated calibration table. Numerous other aspects are provided.
