A head-up display system for facilitating the use of night vision goggles for a person in a vehicle during night vision conditions, the system comprising a light source for providing light to an image source arranged to project an image on a semi-transparent combiner mirror arranged to superimpose the projected image onto a view of the environment in front of the vehicle. The system also comprises a first and a second light source for alternatively providing light to the image source; the first light source being arranged to emit light of a first color in a first light emission spectrum, perceived as green, and to be used during daylight conditions, and the second light source being arranged to emit light of a second color in a second light emission spectrum, perceived as yellow or orange, and to be used during night vision conditions.

Head-up display for night vision goggles

A head-up display system including an image source with a projection lens where the lens projects an intermediate image on a diffuser, forming an intermediate image on the diffuser matt surface. A first planar semi-transparent mirror is arranged to reflect the intermediate image towards a head-up semi-transparent collimating mirror. The collimating mirror also combines the image with the background.

Head-up display

The present invention concerns a simulator arranged for the simulation of firing, which simulator is intended to be mounted on a weapon with aiming means. The simulator contains an emitter for a simulation bean and an emitting device for an alignment beam, which device contains a reticle arranged in a first focal plane of an optical system. The optical system is characterized in that it contains means for beam-splitting, where the optical system has a second focal plane, and where the emitter for the simulation beam is arranged in an optical path or extension thereof containing the second focal plane.

Firing simulator

The present invention relates to a simulator arranged for simulating firing and intended to be mounted on a weapon. The simulator includes an emitter for a simulation beam arranged to emit an electromagnetic beam, and beam shaping means located in the beam path of the simulation beam and arranged to shape the beam so that its beam lobe exhibits a predetermined shape within a large range of distances from a given minimum distance (R) from the simulator principally out to a maximum range (R) for the simulation beam. The invention is characterized in that the beam shaping means comprise an optical component having at least one diffractive transmitting surface, diffractive reflecting surface, aspherical refractive surface or aspherical reflective surface.

An alignment device for alignment of a weapon and a weapon simulator mounted on the weapon. The weapon is provided with a sight and the weapon simulator is equipped with a first device arranged to emit an electromagnetic simulator beam exiting along a simulator axis. The alignment apparatus includes a second device arranged to generate an alignment beam along an alignment axis. The angle between the simulator axis and the alignment axis is fixed and known. A reflection device is arranged to reflect the alignment beam into the sight. An adjuster is arranged to collectively guide the alignment axis and the simulator axis during the alignment of the simulator axis with the sight so that the axes during the alignment maintain the fixed relative angular relationship.
