A method and device for assessing damage to a rolling bearing caused by bearing currents, in particular high-frequency bearing currents, in an electric machine which is electrically connected to an inverter, in particular to an inverter having a DC voltage link circuit, is described. The rolling bearing has a lubrication gap between an inner bearing ring and a rolling body and between an outer bearing ring and the rolling body. The method includes detecting the energy of an electric discharge event in the lubrication gaps, searching for a coincident event having a frequency above one GHz indicative of a damaging bearing current event, detecting a frequency of occurrence of discharge events, and evaluating the discharge events by correlating the frequency of occurrence and the energy of the discharge events.

Method and device for assessing the damage to rolling bearings, in particular in inverter-fed electric machines

A force transducer, in particular a load cell, includes a spring body that deforms when loaded with a force or load to be measured. Two support parts, which are separated by a gap, are moved out of a position of rest. A capacitive displacement detector is used to detect the relative movement of the support parts, where the capacitor includes two electrode combs that are each held on one of the support parts and includes a multiplicity of electrode fingers. The electrode combs are configured designed and mounted on the two support parts such that the electrode fingers of the one electrode comb pass into the finger interspaces of the other electrode comb when the spring body is loaded so that the force transducer is resistant to overloading.

A force transducer, in particular a weighing cell, includes a spring body, which deforms under the action of a force or load to be measured, and a sensor that includes two separate sensor parts mounted at different locations of the spring body and that generates a sensor signal which is dependent on the relative position of the sensor parts with respect to each other. In order to improve the adaptation of the sensor to the spring body, one of the sensor parts is attached to the spring body with interposition of an electromechanical actuator and a control device is present, which controls the actuator dependent on the sensor signal in the direction of a reduction in the positional difference of the sensor parts.

A sensor device includes an exchangeable module shaped as a substantially annular disk and concentrically mounted at or on a shaft of an electric machine. The exchangeable module includes a detection device for detecting a bearing current of the electric machine and an energy converter device configured to convert mechanical energy of the shaft into electrical energy for transmission to the detection device.

The invention inter alia relates to a method for monitoring the bearing current of an electrical machine (). An electrode () arranged at a distance (d) to a shaft and the shaft&#x2014;due to the gap (S) between the electrode and the shaft&#x2014;produce a measurement capacitance (C) and an electric shift current (i) which flows through the measurement capacitance when there is a temporal change of the voltage (Ug) applied between the shaft and the housing is measured. A measurement signal (Ms) indicating a bearing current flow is generated when the shift current or a measurement variable produced by the shift current meets a predetermined trigger criterion. Preferably, the electrode has a circular inner contour so that the gap is annular. The annular inner contour results in an error compensation in the case of a balance error of the shaft because the factor dC/dt remains at least substantially constant. Due to the contactless measurement of the shift current, no contact brushes for contacting the shaft are required. The method can be used irrespective of whether the bearings are insulated from the machine housing or not.

Method and arrangement for monitoring the bearing currents in an electrical machine

A method for the electrochemical coating of a substrate uses brush plating. This is to take place with an electrolyte in that particles are dispersed, which are embedded into the developing layer. It is proposed to add the particles to the carrier for the electrolyte by way of a separate conduit system. The electrolyte is added by way of a conduit system. In this way it is achieved that an agglomeration of the particles in the electrolyte can be prevented because only a short time passes between when the particles are fed and the layer is formed. A device for electrochemical coating has two conduit systems provided for this purpose.

A cladding () for a wall () includes a barrier layer () that can be deformed by the action of a polymer actuator (). According to the invention, a contact surface (A) of the cladding lies completely against the wall, at least in the non-deformed state, stabilizing the intrinsically elastic wall cladding. For example, the wall cladding can be fixed to the wall () in the form of lamellae (), at respective points, in such a way that the activation of the polymer actuator () causes the lamellae () to bend, thus permitting, for example, a layer () of ice to be detached from the cladding. Alternatively, the cladding can also be configured from a membrane actuator, which is fixed at points, or by its entire surface to the wall ().

In a micromechanical sensor () for measuring a mass flow rate in accordance with the Coriolis principle, two line sections () are mounted in a suspension means () such that they can oscillate, as a result of which they can be caused to oscillate in phase opposition (essential for the measuring principle). A spacer layer () is provided between the layers () forming the line sections (), the spacer layer ensuring that there is a space between the line sections () in the quiescent state. Oscillation of the line sections in phase opposition only becomes possible at all as a result of this since this prevents collision of the line sections () as they approach one another.

To monitor functions in a micro-fluidic system having mutually similar parallel fluid paths, sensors () are assigned to the individual fluid paths () at the same respective locations, in order to measure a physical parameter that is influenced by the fluid stream in the fluid paths (). The sensors () are connected to an evaluation device (), which diagnoses a change in the operating state of the micro-fluidic system based on the differences in the parameters measured by the sensors ().

The invention relates to a method for verification of particles, in particular of nanoparticles (), in which a sensor area () is made available for this purpose, on which the particles can accumulate. The invention also relates to a sensor arrangement having a sensor area () which is suitable for carrying out the method mentioned. The invention provides for a plurality of sensor areas () to be arranged, on which particles which each have different characteristics can accumulate. For example, this makes it possible to classify nanoparticles () of different size, thus advantageously allowing a statement to be made on the size distribution of the nanoparticles () in a nanopowder.

A reactor with a reaction chamber (), which is produced for example by etching or other micro-mechanical production processes. An agitating device () is formed for example by an electrical field generator (), which acts on electrical charge carriers () of the sample fluid, and consequently leads to circulation or mixing of the sample fluid. As an alternative, a magnetic field generator which acts on magnetic particles in the sample fluid may also be used. The reactor permits the extensive miniaturization of test reactors for bioprocesses, since circulation of the fluid to achieve a quasi steady-state bioprocess is possible the agitating devices even under extremely confined spatial conditions.

A pressure transmitter has a housing () on which a pressure sensor () is fastened. A system for automated treatment of fluids having interchangeable process modules (), which are arranged next to each other, and which are respectively provided with a control unit and a fluid unit. The fluid unit is controlled by the control unit in order to carry out a module-specific process function during the treatment of the fluids. The control units are interconnected via a data bus (), which is common to the process modules (), and the fluid units are interconnected by a fluid bus () that has several channels. A fluid bus section is provided for at least one part of the channels inside each process module (e.g.,). This section has fluid bus interfaces () at the ends thereof. A connection unit () is configured to be mounted between the respectively adjacent fluid bus interfaces () of two successive process modules (e.g.,) in at least two different mounting positions. The connection unit () connects channel sections that terminate at the adjacent fluid bus interfaces () of both process modules () in a series of different configurations.

A separation-column unit includes a support plate having a groove formed therein on one side and running, for example, in the form of a spiral, and having a cover plate which bears against this side. In order to achieve the high separation capacity combined with a high load-bearing capacity with regard to the amount of sample flowing through, the depth (d) of the groove is preferably at least three times greater than its width.
