A bearing system for a first vehicle part, e.g., a driver's cab of a truck, on a second vehicle part, e.g., a vehicle frame, the first vehicle part being movable from a first position relative to the second vehicle part into a second position, includes a shaft about which the first vehicle part is rotatable from the first position relative to the second vehicle part into the second position, a first flexible bearing element disposed in a first shaft section of the shaft and a second flexible bearing element disposed in a second shaft section of the shaft. The first vehicle part is supported on the shaft in the first shaft section via a first supporting element and in the second shaft section via the flexible second bearing element. The shaft is supported in its first shaft section on the second vehicle part via the first flexible bearing element and in its second shaft section via a second supporting element.

Hydraulic damper bearing for the attenuation of movement. In one embodiment the hydraulic damper bearing has a first anchoring unit and a second anchoring unit, the second anchoring unit moveable in relation to the first anchoring unit. The hydraulic damper bearing also has a spring component working between the first and the second anchoring units, an operating chamber filled with damping fluid and an equalizing chamber separate from the operating chamber and in fluid communication with the operating chamber via a damping duct which is bordered by a duct wall. The volume of the operating chamber is changed during the relative motion of the first and second anchoring support units. During this relative movement, the damping fluid is moved in the damping duct between the equalizing chamber and the operating chamber. A displacing element is arranged on the first anchoring unit and extends into the operating chamber. This element is moveable with the first anchoring unit relative to the second anchoring unit, so that the duct wall of the damping duct is formed at least in part by the displacing element.

Hydraulic damper bearing

A bearing system for an engine-transmission (motor-transmission) unit transversely installed in a vehicle body of a motor vehicle, includes a first bearing element positioned between the engine and the vehicle body, a second bearing element positioned between the engine or the transmission and the vehicle body, and a third bearing element positioned between the transmission and the vehicle body. The second bearing element is formed and positioned without a movable intermediate element at the engine or transmission and vehicle body so that torque forces of the engine-transmission unit, supported by the second bearing element, are introduced into the vehicle body substantially in the vehicle longitudinal direction and so that the second bearing element, in a first domain, which includes small excursions in the vehicle longitudinal direction about the static position of rest at standstill of the engine has a first spring rate, and in a second domain, which adjoins the first domain, and includes larger excursions in the vehicle longitudinal direction, has a second spring rate. The second spring rate is greater than the first spring rate.

Bearing system for an engine-transmission unit

A mount for mounting a cab on a vehicle frame includes a first and a second mounting part, one of which is provided on the cab and the other of which is provided on the frame. The mount further includes a vibration damper acting between frame and cab. The first mounting part includes an inner anchoring part and an outer anchoring part that is movable with respect to the inner anchoring part, the outer anchoring part radially enclosing the inner anchoring part, an elastic spring element acting between the inner and the outer anchoring parts, the cab being raiseable with respect to the vehicle frame, e.g., in a swiveling manner, from a driving position into a service position, and being lowerable from the service position into the driving position. In response to raising the cab into the service position, the first and the second mounting parts are separated from each other, and, in response to lowering the cab into the driving position, the first and second mounting parts are reconnected. In the driving position, the first mounting part is accommodated in a receptacle formed on the inner anchoring part. A centering device is provided, which aligns the first mounting part with respect to the second mounting part in response to the cab being lowered into the driving position.

Hydraulically damped bearing

A vibration canceler for use on the outer circumference of a shaft rotating about an axis and including two enlargements. The vibration canceler includes half-shells which can be pressed on to the outer circumference of the shaft. The half-shells are joined to at least two inertial masses formed as circle segments by elastic elements which are deformable in a circumferential direction. The inertial masses are joined together by retaining elements. The inertial masses are hingedly joined by link elements and can be restrained in a ring shape by at least one lock element.

An annular machine part comprising at least two metal machine elements which are separated from one another by a viscoelastic rubber layer and which have surfaces extending substantially parallel to one another. At least one machine element is joined to the rubber layer, which is connected to a separately produced extension piece projecting from a machine element.

A method for manufacturing a machine bearing comprising an elastic spring element made of rubber, in which the elastic spring element is affixed to a ring element made of an elastically deformable material is disclosed. The ring element is produced from a lamellar section of a sheet metal and, after being transformed into the shape of a cylinderical ring, is further transformed into the final shape of the ring element.

Method for manufacturing a machine bearing

A torsionally flexible coupling having an axis of rotation, comprising a first ring and a second ring that surround one another with radial spacing, such that at least one annularly configured first resilient element made of elastomeric material is arranged in the annular gap formed by the spacing, and such that a belt pulley is mounted, with relative torsional elasticity, on at least one of the rings by a second resilient element made of elastomeric material, the belt pulley being braced at least in the radial direction against at least one of the rings by a sliding bearing. The sliding bearing is made of elastomeric material and is configured integrally and continuously with the first or second resilient element, and the sliding bearing and the first or second resilient element with which it is integrally formed are made of different materials, the materials being adapted to the respective application.

A single-thrust bearing for a shock absorber with a columnar journal projecting in the damping direction and which is sealingly surrounded by a flexible, annular-shaped membrane, whereby the membrane is secured in its rim area, which projects radially to the outside, to a supporting bearing and separates two liquid-filled working chambers from each other. The working chambers are defined in the area of the extremities which mutually oppose each other by hollow-conical bearing springs made of a rubber elastic material. The bearing springs are supported in their base area on the supporting bearing and are braced against one another by means of the journal by way of their tips which are turned away from each other.

Single-thrust bearing for a shock absorber

A vibration canceler includes a dimensionally stable inertial mass that is retained by a spring element made of a flexible material. A metal clamping element is mounted to the spring element and the clamping element and the inertial mass are fastened frictionally to one another through a wall of a recess in said inertial mass. The recess may be tapered in the direction of insertion of the spring element, to ensure a good frictional fit.

A Cardan shaft bearing is disclosed in which the outer ring of an antifriction bearing and a retainer ring are connected together by a rubber ring which is vulcanized in place. The outer ring and the retainer ring rest with radial elasticity against each other. The rubber ring has a U-shaped profile which is open parallel to the axis of the Cardan shaft bearing. The rubber ring is fixed on the outer ring and on the retainer ring at least in part on the axial ends of these rings. The inner ring of the antifriction bearing is provided with rubberizing on the side facing the shaft.

A single-thrust beating for a shock absorber with a columnar journal projecting in the damping direction and which is sealingly surrounded by a flexible, annular-shaped membrane, whereby the membrane is secured in its rim area, which projects radially to the outside, to a supporting bearing and separates two liquid-filled working chambers from each other. The working chambers are defined in the area of the extremities which mutually oppose each other by hollow-conical bearing springs made of a rubber elastic material. The bearing springs are supported in their base area on the supporting bearing and are braced against one another by means of the journal by way of their tips which are turned away from each other.

A hydraulically damped multi-chamber hydraulic bushing is disclosed, which is capable of being loaded perpendicular to its axis. The bushing comprises two supporting sleeves which surround one another and are braced against each other by way of at least one spring element of an elastic material. The spring element at least partially surrounds the inner supporting sleeve, and at least two chambers--which are filled with an incompressible fluid--are arranged diametrically opposite one another. The chambers are fluidly interconnected through at least one connecting port. The chambers are formed by the outer supporting sleeve and a movable chamber wall that is turned toward the inner supporting sleeve. Each chamber wall has a central area that is resistant to expansion and an edge area with a rolling-diaphragm-type design, and is formed in one piece with the spring element. During use, the central areas and the inner supporting sleeve define a gap, which extends in the axial direction and has a maximum radial width of 1 mm.

A hydraulically damped rubber cartridge spring has two liquid-filled chambers 1, 3 and 2, 4. The chambers 1, 2, 3, 4 of the chamber pairs are spaced apart from one another in an axial direction, and the chambers 1, 2, 3, 4 of each chamber pair 1, 3 and 2, 4 are connected via a separated damping opening 5, 6 and filled with liquid. Each damping opening 5,6 is dimensioned and adjusted to the sum of the bulging elasticities of the walls of the respective pair of chambers to which it is connected.
