Notifications related to activity associated with a collaborative process are propagated to an originator to alert the originator of activity on the collaborative process. A collaborative process server receives an indication that the originator has initiated a collaborative process that generates collaborative content to be tracked. The collaborative process server is utilized to share the collaborative content associated with the collaborative process with at least one recipient. Computer implemented event(s) associated with the shared collaborative content by recipients are detected. Information associated with the collaborative process is automatically transformed in response to detected event(s) associated with the shared collaborative content, wherein a notification of the occurrence of the event(s) is propagated to the originator. The notification is generated in response to detected event(s) and is based upon the transformed information. Propagating the notification can include evaluating a rule to determine a when or how the notification is propagated.

Event triggered notifications for collaborative processes

Notifying a user of a collaborative process that an event of interest has occurred, includes providing a graphical user interface that graphically interacts with a user to identify electronically generated collaborative content of a corresponding computer-executed collaborative process that is to be tracked, wherein the user defines an originator of the generated collaborative content; designating at least one event that triggers a notification to the originator of the collaborative content; communicating with a collaborative process server computer to identify at least one event associated with the collaborative process to monitor; receiving an indication that at least one designated event has occurred; and modifying a visual display of the shared collaborative content when a designated event associated with the shared collaborative content is detected.

Information associated with the collaborative process is automatically transformed in response to detected event(s) associated with the shared collaborative content, wherein a notification of the occurrence of the event(s) is propagated to the originator. The notification is generated in response to detected event(s) and is based upon the transformed information.

A method, computer program product, and computer system for establishing a Voice over IP (VoIP) session. One or more computing devices initiate the VoIP session between a plurality of devices. A method, computer program product, and system for VoIP session quality is described. A method may comprise allowing a user to define a session quality threshold for a Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (VoIP) session of a VoIP conference, the session quality threshold corresponding to a session quality characteristic of the VoIP session. The method may further comprise determining a session quality value for the session quality characteristic of the VoIP session. The method may additionally comprise determining if the session quality value for the session quality characteristic of the VoIP session is unacceptable based upon, at least in part, the session quality threshold that corresponds to the session quality characteristic of the VoIP session. The method may also comprise, in response to determining that the session quality value is unacceptable, initiating one or more predefined session quality actions.

A session invitation can be received from a first communicator for a first communication session. The session invitation can be for a temporary participant to join a sub-session of the first communication session for a sub-session duration specified by the first communicator. The sub-session duration can be less than a duration of the first communication session. The session information can be conveyed to the temporary participant within a session invitation so that the sub-session duration is able to be presented to the temporary participant. Thus, the temporary participant is able to accept or deny the session invitation with full knowledge of the sub-session duration.
