This invention describes a composition of matter and a method of treating agricultural substrates in which an active ingredient selected from the group consisting of fungicides, bactericides, insecticides, insect repellents, herbicides and plant growth regulators and mixtures thereof is utilized in conjunction with an amount of a glycoside dispersing agent selected from the group consisting of fructoside, glucoside, mannoside, galactoside, taloside, guloside, alloside, altroside, idoside, arabinsode, xyloside, lyxoside and riboside and mixtures thereof which is sufficient to form an emulsion or dispersion of the active ingredient.

Glycoside-containing agricultural treatment composition

Particulate detergent compositions are prepared by (a) forming an aqueous crutcher slurry having a total solids content of from about 40 to about 80 weight percent on a total weight basis and comprising a surfactant ingredient, al least about 0.1 weight percent (surfactant weight basis) of which is a glycoside surfactant; a builder ingredient; water; and, optionally, a filler ingredient and (b) thereafter drying said aqueous crutcher slurry. In an especially preferred embodiment, the glycoside surfactant is employed as an additive in a relatively small but effective amount (i.e., corresponding to less than about 2 weight percent on a dry solids weight basis) to provide reduced viscosity and/or enhanced homogeneity to the crutcher slurry compositions of interest.

Process for preparing particulate detergent compositions

This application discloses a novel fabric softening composition which is a dispersed complex of a cationic nitrogenous compound and an anionic detergent, the complex containing two or more alkyl radicals having from 15 to 24 carbon atoms, the dispersing agent used being an ethylene oxide condensate of a hydrophobic organic radical having from 50% to 80% ethylene oxide.

Fabric softening composition

This invention relates to a detergent bar having superior use properties and comprising acyl isethionate as the major detergent surface active agent with an unesterified water-soluble alkali metal isethionate as a bar processing aid. Adding an alkoxy hydroxy propane sulfonate in conjunction with a small amount of sodium chloride to these toilet detergent bars significantly reduces the wear rate of the bar without adversely affecting its lathering characteristics.
